For the love of God as I stated in the video showing how to do the front brakes on a Jeep Cherokee..... NEVER EVER TOUCH THE BRAKE BLEED SCREWS UNLESS YOU'RE ACTUALLY BLEEDING THE BRAKES....... The risk you're taking in introducing air into the system just to make the pistons easier to compress is monumentally stupid. There should be no need whatsoever to crack the bleed screw. In areas where there is a lot of rust you also risk breaking it which just turned a rather easy pad replacement into a full brake bleeding and probably caliper replacement job. I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and I learned a long time ago if it ain't broke don't fix it. Sure technically speaking to do an oil change you can remove the whole oil pan instead of just the drain plug but why would you? That's pretty much the equivalent of cracking the bleed screw to turn the pistons back.

have an extractor set handy for the 5mm that holds on the rotor if you live in the north east. Also buy new ones if you want

I have a 2019, can i just retract parking brake by using the oarking brake button

I changed mine but my rotors are smaller..2015 jeep Cherokee 2.4L… the rotor discs place can be seen.. the front rotors are bigger.. now the parking brake turns on when in park mode and when I press on the brakes it take a bit to come to a full stop.. any suggestions on what I can do..?

Rotor plate as in the thing you see after taking the rotor off..lol idk what’s the technical term

Nice how you made it seem like those T55 screws were so easy to take off. Anyone who watches this video just know it’s edited and he leaves out key details that will have you waste a lot of time. I suggest looking up another video because this one just wasted an hour of my time.
