I love this bro my Buick enclave 08 is overheating and I thought the side was leaking but I learned it’s the overflow because it’s hot so I know now it’s the thermostat and watching this I can be my own mechanic thanks a lot for this info …. Please if you can respond I may need a few pointers n questions please 🙏 Thanks a million

@TRQ So i just replaced the ect sensor and i went to add some coolant back, capped off the resevoir, however, the actual radiator fill spot is no where near close to the top. Am I supposed to fill it up to full there also? After I put it all back together it shot the same codes, P0117 & P1258. The AC runs for a bit before it overheats and kicks into engine save mode, and the temp Guage drops to zero. I tried blasting the heat but it isn't working to help. The thermostat stuck and was replaced last year.
