Great video but no need to remove any control arm stuff. I literally just pulled mine very easily only moving sway bar out of the way and removing heat shield. There is plenty of room to slide the inner flange up and towards the engine to get the axle out of the hub. For reference my car is a 2002 VW Jetta Wagon 2.0 automatic. I also did both sides of my 2003 Passat 1.8T manual without any removal of steering components at all, not even the sway bar. The heat shield is a pain to get back in but some appropriate extensions etc...help.

I'd like to see the driver's side done without lowering the sub frame. I've tried for two days and gave up.

I'm at a loss, I just did this and now gear oil is leaking from all around the bolts.

It's this for a stick or automatic? Or does it not matter?

Why are the oil pan bolts ready to fall out? Someone should tighten them up. Or is that a trick to get the customers to come back. Lol
