Thank you so much! I put rear pads on my truck and my drivers rear caliper was stuck. I realized I put the “damper” on the caliper bracket on backwards causing it to get stuck on the pad and not releasing the piston. I had a loooonngggg day but it was an easy fix!

So i have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500, and my rear drums went out, so I took the opportunity to do a disc setup. I bought a new calipers, rear lines, and have bled it for a couple days now. I have used to soapy water to check for leaks, and looks like I don't have any. But when you get in the truck with the truck off the brake pedal is solid, and normal feeling but right when you start it up, it almost goes to the floor and it has a spongy brake pedal. I took it around the block and if I pump the brakes a couple of times the pedal feels good. But when I come to another stop I have to pump more times to get that solid feeling back. I have done a automatic bleeder a couple times and even bled the master. I am truly stuck on this and if anyone has an idea, I would really appreciate some help.

Great video! Except for 1 part. Please never put thread lock on brake system bolts! Very unnecessary and makes it a pain to get out in rust belt states! Torque to factory spec and I promise your bolts will not back out.

Amazing you think everybody had power tools you don't even mention the direction of rotation of the bolts or screws or size removing the caliper.
