This was a variant of the Kyocera KC-85, the design of which they (Kyocera) licensed to several other companies. -Olivetti had the M10 -NEC started with their PC-8201x models, eventually creating clamshell formfactor models (PC-8500 ultimately) -Tandy evolved the design to their clamshell formfactor Model 200. Their Model 600 was a very different beast. Been diving down this rabbit hole lately. Side note: Disk/Video Interface (D/V-I) is an external accessory that interfaces with a host unit via a system bus connection; this is either achieved through the ROM socket on the original model 100, or the system bus pin header connection on the model 102 and 200. It can house up to 2 FDDs as well as providing video output to a CRT.
