South Africans, let's be honest. There's no channel on KZbin that presents our country like this. Not even one. South African KZbinrs discuss beauty products. Useless.
@_theerealnono_76944 жыл бұрын
Lol, play nice. KZbin is an open platform for everyone. There are multiple niche channels, Beauty being one of them. People will naturally start a channel based on their own interests and passions. There are other SA channels apart from Beauty and gossip, I've seen "drive with me" channels done by two guys from Joburg that showcase the different neighborhoods and sights while driving around Johannesburg/GP -- you're right though, I don't think I've seen a channel that's geared towards showcasing SA in a positive light like this one. I think it just has to do with what their business is centred around -- their vision, mission and their target market. They are a business first before being "KZbinrs", KZbin was just a platform to market their offerings. At least that's how I see it.

@Simon CM U misunderstood my point, u took out what u could and turn it in to lemonade. Now let me tell u what u don't know. When colonizers left during independence, most infrastructures that they have built was destroy by them and ontop of that those countries had to pay taxes for been colonize through resources. Now my point was Chinese people have no problem going into the interior of this countries despite not speaking the language, even in the interior of SA u will find a Chinese. But most Black Americans doesn't have that business mindset. They go only to countries that speaks English and develop. Scared to make big moves into the hinterlands.

When I first went to the USA in 2002 something that stood out immediately for me was that the stores had a lot more choices and people seemed to drive much larger vehicles than SA. I also noticed that people seemed to shop a lot more for clothing and other household/decor items. My mouth would hang open seeing people's overloaded shopping trolleys at places like Ross, Marshall's and Walmart. I would think "why do people need so much stuff?" In SA the majority do not have that disposable income and shop more for basic necessities. I have been in Canada for a few years but going back to SA permanently soon Godwilling. I think they did though have their stores established well before the sale.
@africanandproud67924 жыл бұрын
Yes they did but they were already established here in South Africa long before the sale. They were not created by Wall Mart. Wall Mart bought them because they were already succesful.

Unfortunately the last couple times I was back in SA I didn't have any time to go to places outside of my home city. To the people of South Africa, I write this out of love. Here is SA at the moment we are so consumed with our lives and our politics that a lot of people are not noticing what is happening in the rest of the world. For some reason God in His mercy for now is sparing SA. I encourage you to find out what is happening around the world from fires to floods to locusts to storms to droughts to anarchy to earth quakes to volcanoes and more just look. These things are rampant at the moment and affecting multiple millions of people countries are being ruined. I also understand that in a lot of Churches in SA Bible prophesy is really put on the back burner or left out altogether (I am not taking about people prophets I am talking about what is written in the Bible). I would really encourage you to read your own Bible and let the Lord speak to you about what is going on. For those of you who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ I would earnestly encourage you to seek Him (ABCs below). I am not a date setter but the Lord did say we would know the season of His coming in the clouds, I am not even asking you to take my word for it but please take it to pray before the Lord. One day Jesus is coming for His people and we will be raptured and that day seems to be fast approaching. Those that do not accept the Lord Jesus Christ before this will go through the tribulation a time of unspeakable horror because you rejected the son of God after He gave His life for your sin, just read Revelation 6 - 22. Remember, we cannot earn our way to Heaven the price was paid by Jesus Christ. Admit you are a sinner in need of a saviour. Believe in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross alone for the forgiveness of all your sins (past, present and future) and eternal life! Call on the name of the Lord. ("All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13) "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6) "When you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart man believes and is justified and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10) "For it is by grace you are saved through faith. It is not your own doing. It is the FREE gift of God. Not by works lest any man boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
