yeah i had a friend who has severely avoidant so extreme that it started affecting the friendship

theres a lot of avoidant people who have successful relationships by acknowledging they want to be close to people its just scary, its such a natural thing to want to be intimate a lot of healing can be found from working with a therapist who can help you get more comfortable with being vulnerable i found reading/listening to audio books about attachment styles like the book "attached" really helped me @@dorien_rose
