Israel watched and encouraged them in the few years up to them in the hope they'd take root for their own ends (to topple Fatah from power) Gaza has always been poor, they can't trade like anywhere else, they continually have goods in and out of the territory restricted or banned. Did you know Israel evens restricts light bulb and crayons?? 1,000 construction items including cement. They can only fish so far from their own coast line otherwise they're shot by Israeli boat patrols. They're not adverse to shooting children in shallow waters or even on the beach (this is being investigated by the IDF 🤣) These people aren't that politically sophisticated enough that they were making those videos to highlight the disparity between the Hamas leadership and Gazans 🤣 Thats pure hatred and ridicule right there and everyone knows it.
