I really like Steven when he gives a review. He's very genuine and honest. He reviews what he sells, yet doesn't hide the flaws on the products. Thanks for helping customers make an informed decision in making a purchase.

What an amazing release aid!!! The versatility of being able to quickly switch between hinge and trigger sets my mind at ease of needing to change things up. Whether it be from training with a hinge and using trigger during a tournament or just honing technique this release allows you to do it all. The shot breaks with crispness and precision. After only shooting a few arrows, I’ve found that this release puts them where you are aiming, not leaving you with any surprises. Changing from trigger to hinge or vice versa can be done in seconds (possibly even on the shooting line). The adjustability is independent of each other whether in hinge or trigger mode. Although pricey, I’d say that it’s worth the coin, it’s two releases in one.

Hi. I am a hunter and I shoot target recreational. I bought this release as I fell in love with it once I shot some test shots on the range. The price is a little steep, but it is worth it.

Stephen it's very simple to change from thumb to back tension. It literally takes no time at all to change from click to no click read the directions.

Nice review, was going to set up my Xpedite for the TRU Ball GOAT, but, I'm still stuck in that "Everything should me the same" frame of mind. Keep the videos coming, still the highlight of my week, THANKS YOU Sir.

I'm running the GOAT with my Xpedite. I recommend putting on the four finger attachment.

I can pick up any release and shoot whether it’s wrist strap, hinge with click, no click, trigger, no trigger I just trust. I’ve always thought it was funny when people flinched lol

So what's the all around best tru ball release you would recommend that won't break the bank. I use your normal finger release and everyone days to move up. Lol so I been looking and wow are they expensive 😢

I’m the same with thumb buttons. I’ll shoot great with my son’s Wise Choice. But, after a while I’ll start getting twitchy to going full on target panic. I always go back to my Tru Ball HT Hybrid, or HBC. When my son gets his Blade in, I do want to try again with the WC...glutton for punishment 🥴🤷🏼♂️

Can you review the Scott Longhorn Hex bow release? It's a combination between a trigger release and back tension release aid.

Great video. I just switched from wrist releases to the GOAT. I have a much more solid and stable draw cycle, and a better release. I would recommend adding the four finger attachment and use the pinky to help cause the trigger to release.

I friend of mine noticed that certain parts of his release aid has started to rust a little. It's a Carter Just B Cuz. Any tips for maintenance? He worries about looks, but also about internal components degrading.
@loki82846 жыл бұрын
Which parts are rusting? The components that make up the cocking button, jaw, sear, and thumb part attachment are all machined from stainless steel (and should not oxidize much, if at all). The screws Carter uses are black oxide, and will rust over time. If the screws are rusting, they can be replaced with stainless screws easily enough. If the internal parts are rusting, you can polish them with a light buffing compound and a soft cloth, though this will require opening the casing and voiding the warranty. A drop of lubricant in the openings in the casing will help but may collect dirt. If it functions alright, I would just leave it alone.

Nice review. Like every vids you make for us. Saw the review from the Abyss also. Which release is easier and more comphortable to use? The Abyss or the goat. ? I am a thumb trigger shooter. Thank you and kind regards from germany
@stefan1603655 жыл бұрын
I tested the Abyss flex and the Goat yesterday in large. Nice Releases but in Large it is much to big for my normal size Hands. I also tested a STAN Perfex in L and this was the most comfortable Release imo.

21:00 lolol....why in the world would anyone use back tension anymore when they have resistance activated with safties built in to prevent missfires during the draw cycle..the carte evolution in my opinion is the best release ive shot with and ive hunted with it but i use there backstrap release for hunting and would never ever use any caliper style release...index finger trigger release are the absolute worst form destroyers ever made..the more you shoot them the worse you get too..
@markwarner.033 жыл бұрын
You can run a back tension a lot hotter than you can an evolution. I own an evo plus and a goat, and a couple others lol they’re all run at different levels. The carter honey is a good one if you want a hinge with a safety

Bad review, how can you give it a full review on the hinge release when you didn’t set it up correctly how you like and then shoot it and then give an opinion? Also, when you use a click you set the click to come on right at full draw and anchor, not after you aim🤦♂️
