These “ wings?” are a great idea IMO. HAVE to careful about adjusting them so you don’t impart any torquing to the string though. I’ve added epoxy putty to my Carter Wise Choice thumb at the index finger location to widen it in a similar manner of the wings. This has helped for me to get a more consistent grip it seems. It IS more comfortable.

Will this only be available in a hinge variation? No Thumb break release?

Hi Jim, my thoughts as you’re a trad archer, need to get more stick and string archers in to talk to, not recurve or laminates but proper self bows, an absolute coup would be yourself and Kevin Hicks if he visits the UK 🏹
