The waist band is designed so you can Conceal Carry inside the waist band. Plus if you gain a little weight, they will still fit. Can be purchased from Gar.com for $35. The best pants I have ever owned. Have worn the 24/7 exclusively for over five years. What I like best is that they never need ironing. That's right, I have not ironed pants in over five years. Love these pants.

Yea, I agree. I wear some variety of tactical pants every day for work and have never ironed them. The Truspecs do have a lot of nice features.
@AZDESERT202411 жыл бұрын
They are normally 39.99 , but right now they have 15% off and free shipping. Just ordered six pair. Should probably order more, can't beat them at $35. Search Tru Spec at the top of their page for all Tru Spec gear.

I ordered a pair of Ascents from Botach, really impressed with them. So I ordered two more pair, a pair of Deltas, and a pair of these, all on sale from Botach. I can only hope the Deltas and these are as nice. The main reason I like the Ascents is the fit. I hate big baggy legs like the 5.11s. I have a regular/slim waist and legs.

I just got mine about 2 weeks ago and these are the best tactical pant that I ever have even I went out side where it was so hot, it reached 99 degrees, no problems at all. In other words THESE ARE AWESOME THAT I AM BUYING 3, 4, 6.......OR MAY 10 AND I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THE OTHER TACTICAL PANTS AND THE Y SOOOOOOO COMFORTABLE!!!!!!! Now I want to try some other TRU-SPEC polo shirts, boots, RIP - STOP 24/7 vest.....etc.

Glad you like them!

Hi. Try the Vertx pants for EDC. I don't like the 5.11 Taclites any more. 5.11 FlexTac Stryke pants are good also.
@SnareMan12 жыл бұрын
Good question. I've never really looked, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was something like there. They have stuff for shoes, so maybe they would for clothes too.
@LazyManPrepper18 жыл бұрын
I agree with you about the pocket design. If they would put the Lf pocket on the Rt and the Rt on the Lf, it would work a lot better. The sewn part would be toward the floor when sitting down preventing stuff from falling out.
@SnareMan8 жыл бұрын
These pants have been around for a long time and could use a refresh on the design

@flyer203 Not sure. The only Blackhawk pants I have are the Blackhawk Warrior wear Pants (see my review of them). The fabric is similar but thicker as compared to those Blackhawk pants.

Also, not sure if these are too "casual" for their lack of pockets but LAPG also has some covert pants you should check out. And can you give me insight pertaining to LAPG-what's their usual shipping cost, how long does it take to be delivered, etc. Ever since amazon prime I'm always skeptical of anything less.
@SnareMan10 жыл бұрын
Their shipping seems kinda slow from what I remember.

из 4 цветов штанов-только один цвет есть рип-стоп... они немного легче чем остальные и не промокают. опускаешь их в воду- вынимаешь, а они сухие!!так ведет себя рип-стоп вариант, остальные мокнут
@stefanleader723110 жыл бұрын
Love the pants but the velcro pocket closures are a bit too aggressive. Every time I reach into a back pocket to get wallet I scrape my hand on the velcro leaving a red bruise.

I agree. There is too much velcro

Go for 30, first, because they're waaay too baggy.
@SnareMan7 жыл бұрын
I don't think you can/should go for a waist size 3" smaller than your actual size though. LAPG stuff runs 2" small though so I always get 2" larger.
@victor_gradinaru7 жыл бұрын
I thought it'd work, since these things stretch way more in the waistband than 5.11's, for example.

those arent thumb holes. the holes are there in order for the comfort waist elastic to be able to open up and function correctly. also, check for cans of scotchgard in the laundry isle of the grocery store. spray the pants for more repellanancy.

what color are the pants you are reviewing?
@SnareMan13 жыл бұрын
@ikonik69 Actually I like the Eotac's the best. Too bad they just went out of business. Depends on what you are using the pants for. Too many belt loops on 5.11's. Not good for wearing with a holster. I like the symmetrical pockets on other pants.

hi I'm having a hard time deciding which pants to get can you tell me what you think the best looking colors are in the 5.11 and tru specs? in order I can't decide which color to get and can't afford to buy more than 2 pairs. I'm leaning towards the olive and black.
@SnareMan10 жыл бұрын
Hi Bob. THis is obviously subjective, but I like black and coyote.
@gummybear4128310 жыл бұрын
SnareMan in which brand? and do you think olive looks better in 5.11 or Tru spec?
@SnareMan10 жыл бұрын
Bob johnson In both. You can't go wrong with black. I haven't seen the truspec olive so I can't really say. If you like OD I'm sure both are fine though.

Teflon Coatings on your cloths makes you glow in night vision or IR vision. Same as starching your cloths. Do not buy "tactical clothes with Teflon coatings. Just my opinion, but I don't want to be a glowing target.
@SnareMan6 жыл бұрын
OK. Although I can't say I'm too often concerned about someone using IR stuff on me. Guess it depends on your situation.
