It's definitely more challenging in your driveway, on jack stands, laying on your back, in 110° heat in Florida. I just replaced my rear bearings on my '99 K1500 Suburban yesterday.

Make sure you can remove the fill bolt on your rear diff before you disassemble it, otherwise your never going to be able to fill your diff back up and would have created a bigger problem for yourself.
