By having this truck bed roof top tent on top of your truck bed you don't have to worry about animals or other creatures greeting you in the middle of the night. There is an extendable ladder that covers with the tent that clips on to all sides. You also receive optional load bars for the top of the tent. Also, by having the GoTent mount on top of your truck bed you have access to full bed space. You do need two people to lift the GoTent on top of your truck load bars, as it weighs 167lbs. The fabric on the Gotent is waterproof and can be unzipped from the tent shell. You will find that the 2" mattress that it comes with is pretty comfortable and suitable for any camping trip. The best part of the Gotent is that is only takes 1 minute to setup.

How much bedding can you keep inside the tent while closed? Does that front hood unzip all the way or just up the sides? Thanks!

Should be fine to keep a comforter, sheets and pillows. It just zips up the sides.

Why wont the tent mount right to the Gorack? Right now that's the only thing keeping me from ordering the It unless someone tells me you can mount directly to the rack itself. I dont see the point of Rrealtruck making a rack that needs another rack system on top in order to mount a tent.

It has everything to do with the position of the tent track system. It won’t reach the GoRack front cross bars without hitting the back of the truck.

@@zachattackcustoms so assuming i can position the rack favoring the tailgate side enough, I could potentially mount the tent using the pre cut holes and slots on the top of the Gorack crossbars?

@@zachattackcustoms that would be great. I guess id need the top dimensions of the rack from cross rail to cross rail and from side to side. I Also don't plan on using the real truck go tent I have a Condor on order from roof nest. I appreciate that considering Real truck doesn't list the dimensions.

GoRack Dimensions: Length: 64in Width: 57in. The Furthest I can move the Rack away from the truck in the T-slots on the Retrax EQ cover would be 7in from the Cab. Hope this Helps.
