How do you like flatbed? I am going to be getting my CDL and I am considering flatbed over reefer to start. Ive heard flatbed is generally shorter trips, is that true? do you still get 2500+miles a week

It’s a lot to explain but Flatbed is great for beginners. I recommend Flatbed over Reefer/Dry van due to waiting at customers for a long period of time. We don’t wait at customers very often, we’re usually in and out of cities. It is some Real work and it’s not easy, Flatbed is not for everybody. You would have to check out some of my past videos to get an idea. I do average anywhere from 2000-2700 miles a week. It’s not consistent miles, for example one week would be 2800 the next would be 2600 the next would be 2000 than maybe 1800 miles so it’s not consistent due to freight and whatever area you are in
