Nice little build you have going on there. All you need to get away. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks I appreciate it! Yeah it's ready to drop and go whenever I get a wild hair up my ass! Heading out early tomorrow to the desert for some offroading and camping. First trip out! We'll see how it does in the wind

Thanks! Are you looking into truck campers? I highly recommend this company.

@ what company is the topper? I am very interested in the overland concept. Would like to have something similar to yours. I like that you can take everything out fairly easily if you ever needed to also.

@@Hart_Jake this is made by the company called OVRLND Campers. campovrlnd.com/

I have an OVRLND camper myself and traveled the USA for three years staying in National Forests. Enough about that, I insulated the walls with 1" insulation board covered in a canvas material and glued in between the studs, but I recently insulated the ceiling with a 1" insulated blanket material that has a black material facing toward the interior made by 3M. So much easier to work with and I would have used that for the walls if I knew about it. Something to consider.

Pretty much how I ended up insulating mine. Foam board insulation wrapped in material fabric that we chose at Jo-Ann's. Covered the studs with the soft side of velcro. It looks really good in there. I have a few videos with it

Nice build man! I love the diy nature of it. I also have a first gen tundra and just got a GFC for mine and am building it out.
@dirtnsmores8 ай бұрын
Thanks Tim! Yeah the DIY part of it has been more fun than expected. The GFC is also a great platform for building on. I looked at those too

Im from poland, here in poland we love your channel. Rent is also expensive and many of us travel and live in cars. Why u build this truck camper, for an adventure?
@dirtnsmores9 ай бұрын
We purchased this for camping adventures, multi-week road trips we have planned to visit family, and for using on weekends at our kids sports tournaments and visits to the beach. I use it at work during the week also. I explained it in the video. Thanks for visiting our channel!

T hi is is a nice rig. I am looking for some storage bags. Is thee a name on the bags that you could share? So far, I can’t seem to find anything like that on Amazon. Thanks.
@dirtnsmores5 ай бұрын
Hi. Thanks for commenting and appreciate the compliments on our rig. Are the bags you're talking about the one in my table? Those came with the Camp Chef Sherpa table. I'm not sure if you can buy them separately. Here's the whole table on Amazon: amzn.to/45YKLy7
