After a trip to Yellowstone N.P. in 1987 towing a pop-up camper, I decided upon a truck pop-up camper for easier traveling and faster setup and less wheels on the ground and no license fees as well. Win-win. I purchased a used Sunlite slide-in in 1987. I still own it and still enjoy it. 33 years is a long time to own any camper and it is still in great condition. I hope yours lasts for you as long, with good service. Good luck with your project.

Great. Better than spending $35,000 for a new popup for sure. I'm going to do the same thing with my 23 year old Phoenix pop up.

Dude thanks. I live in Norman love the Sooner flag and I also bought an 87 Starcraft pop up while back. I have a small toy hauler thought an affordable remodel would be fun. Appreciate the videos giving me some ideas.

What kind of paint did you use …?? Will know today if we have one bought 🤔..a 98 model…

Exterior was herculiner. Interior is valspar cabinet paint. I would recommend spending twice as long sanding the inside. I just scuffed mine up and it wasn't enough.
