Let's get Casey to 100K! I couldn't tell from the video if that mud spring mound was in a low basin. Sometimes hot or mineral springs can also produce gases that will sink to the ground and push out the normal air, thus suffocating any critter that spends too much time there.
@CoyoteWorks013 жыл бұрын
That’s really interesting. It smelled a little bit sulphuric and it was in a little bit of a depression. Man 100K subs would be a dream come true for me! Cheers.

@@CoyoteWorks01 My nephews gave me the Camp Chef Mountaineer series stove a year ago for XMas. The big polished aluminum one. Bless their little hearts... 2nd time I used it, it caught on fire. Was staying in a National Heritage cabin in Death Valley at the time. Luckily I didn't burn it down. Camp Chef did recall this model stove and sent replacement parts. But not a good taste to linger in your mouth.

Hey Casey! Good to see you getting out in the Vernlander and enjoying the outdoors sharing your findings with us. It's interesting stuff, and wild, to think of what happened hundreds of years ago on the same land we're walking on now. Ramen is awesome for camping, and your meal was packed full of goodness bringing chicken and other ingredients from home to fix it up right. Hope to see you out again soon... you have lots of choices between the truck, Jeep, or building a new shelter this summer. Take care my friend! Pete - KI7LIL

Very nice adventure. I totally identify with your type of camping set-up. I do not go for the new style of bringing your entire home kitchen with you and haveing it permanently mounted on the truck or dragged behind in a trailer. Too much weight to lug about and to me it's fun to set up and break down camp. All part of the experience. I think most of us can have camp fully packed up, including a tent, in 30 minutes. You just have to be organized.
@CoyoteWorks013 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yeah I feel the same. One of the things I’ve always enjoyed was setting up my camp. I just really enjoy that process of getting everything set up the way I like it in whatever camp spot I end up in. A lot of my camp set up is similar but it’s always a little bit different depending on the layout of the spot I’m in. Cheers!
