Truck Camping in RAIN with Canvas Softopper

A rainy evening truck camping, cooking in the back of my truck, enjoying a campfire during a break from the rain, and watching a movie and staying warm with a small ceramic heater to finish off the night. In the morning some light snow flurries come in and I brew some coffee to warm up and end the trip.

Hey- you have to make sure you get ventilation when you cook inside that softopper. You don't want to be breathing what that stove puts out.

I have a 21 taco same color long bed, and I got a used softopper which I have not put on yet. That said Thanks for the vid, now I know how cool my truck will look once I put the topper on.

Dude those Honey Buns are amazing. Haven't had those in years. And those little apple turnover things. They used to sell them at hostess. Some places call them a moonpie, but that's it's own flavor.

What have you done to make the softopper more waterproof on the inside? This will be my first fall/ winter with it and I still want to camp in the back of the tacoma without getting wet. Thought about just putting silicone around the inside but was curious if there was a better, potentially less messy way lol.

I used flex seal tape and taped over the corners on the truck bed and it seems to work well!
