Truck Cap Camper setup, no build. Minimalist.

Short video showing my truck topper set up for camping. A very minimalist no build setup. Pretty budget friendly.
At some point I will probably build a permanent full time camper setup, but for now I just want to get ideas and feel out how important different features will be to me. And how comfortable I am in all four seasons including winter truck camping.

3 Gallon Stockpot is all I use for shower. I just heat it up on stovetop or coals from fire. I use privacy fold out tent. A cup works well for but you can buy the digital shower usb rechargeable if you want. Works great 3 gallons is plenty.

Yeah, that's why I bought an older one. Most newer vehicles are not made to last, or perform to customer standards but to meet federal "regulations".

@RatherBeWheeling yes sad to say, Chevy 1500 went to crap in 2015 never liked Ford switched to RAM 1500 2019 model so far so good. But these new turbo 6 cylinder engines will not last towing so I guess my next jump is to V-8 3/4 ton

Nice setup! There’s a popular KZbinr named Mav with a similar camper setup that he made himself, looks similar to yours and could be a great reference!
