Yep. Right now, my "truck gun" lives, secured in my home... Because I don't have a truck. But one day, it WILL make its way into my truck! 😁👍

Quite frankly, screw the haters. There’s going to be plenty of weak yuppies that enjoyed your older content that can’t compute with reality or guns. Rock on Andrew, this was an awesome video and an awesome evolution of your channel!

My truck gun set up is very similar to yours. I have the same Red dot, same brace, but have PSA 10.5 upper with fixed front sight, PSA lower, Magpul handguard, B5 grip, and surefire G2 light. I didn't see the need with going with a quad rail only because I'm not going to use IR laser/light that I would need a solid rail for. My setup is definitely budget but it works for me.

I like your breakdown of the “PACE” system. It’s something we use in our family too. Currrently we’re moving closer to C…we’ve been stuck out on the farm with no running vehicles for several days due to the cold. Hopefully it’s gonna warm up today tho.

Overkill for the win on “LIFE”. I rather have it and probably avoid being killed all day long. First Responders are always there after the fact. I think anyone with the right mind state should carry every chance they get.

The 4wd module killed my entire truck during the middle of a blizzard, my whole family was with me. I had nothing useful in the truck. And since the truck was dead, I couldn't charge my phone. Luckily i was within a half hour of my parents. Tow truck didn't show up for over 4 hours. Not that I needed a gun, but having a pack would have taken some stress off. Great video 🎉. Don't buy 07-09 Dodge Rams.

Remember to feed the haters! ;-p Also, for a short firearm with no intention of using a can, why even have a muzzle device? Just roll with a thread protector!

Moar firearms content Rifle looks good to me man. I dig the basic look like that, to me that says "competence" a lot more than one with a bunch of crap on it. Only thing I'd change on it is putting an actual stock on it instead of the brace. About a year ago my first SBR only took about a week and a half to get approved, and it's a really easy process (I followed National Gun Trust's tutorial, here on YT). Put in for two other ones during that brace deadline time last year and still not approved, must've gotten a huge influx of submissions. 🥺 I'd also maybe throw the can in your bag too? Not necessary I guess but I have trouble thinking of situations where shooting with a can isn't better than without one. Wish I had enough money to have a can for every rifle lol.
@555Gear9 ай бұрын
Thanks for commenting! How is needing to have the NFA paperwork with you after approval? Do you just keep it in the case?
@clamum96489 ай бұрын
@@555Gear Yeah I just keep copies in my range bag as that will always be with me when I'm using my rifles, unless it's a special situation in which case I'll adjust to that. You also need to get permission to cross state lines with them, which for people who may travel with them may be annoying (I'm not familiar with the process personally), but that's not applicable to myself. I just like a solid stock over a brace and I'm dubious on the continued legal status of braces. But I get everyone's different, whatever's best for you go for it!

Personally, I think a truck gun is overkill. YMMV. When I'm outside my home the only purpose my firearms serve is to break contact from a threat. If I lived in bear country, maybe a truck gun would be more practical.
