Truck Life - Speeding in Hungary To Avoid Driving Ban, Chilling in Romania, and BG Border at Night.

We are speeding because of driving ban, then chilling in Romania with great weather, of course we are waiting in Calafat, more than I was expecting, and then same parking in Bulgaria.

Thanks man, yes, those trips and even whole job is like adventure, one after another, that's why I'm doing it 😆 Romania is really beautiful, wild, simple country to live/visit, to be in. I have friends there, and I have been there privately so many times, but I would still go there like anytime.

4:15 The concept of the existence of driving bans might be (as you pointed out in 4:39) the fluence of the traffic (also on high ways). As well, the law-maker (f. ex. state hungary) may argues with ecology reasons ("if less trucks on week-ends, so less pollution on week ends")

Pollution? But those trucks will drive anyway through country, and if waiting 2 days to drive (in Hungary or other country border), they are going to keep trucks running from time to time, for air conditioning, or to charge batteries, so they will put even more pollution into air 🤔🤔 fluence of the Traffic....is it really so life changing? On the way to the border I can barely see normal cars going even during weekdays 🤔 but I guess that traffic depends from which road/highway we are talking about.

What country are you from? Also do you ever get opportunities to go into Western Europe? What is a vignette?

I'm from Poland and yeah, whenever I want I can drive or live in any other country western or Scandinavian. And vignette is a usually piece of paper (but can be bought online too) with registration plates of your truck, and it allows you to drive through roads of certain country for certain amount of time. For example one day vignette in Romania allowes you to use all roads in Romania for one day, if you won't buy it then you will pay a ticket, very expensive ticket to a police or border officers.

It is much more complicated than just prepaid tool, it depends from a country some countries have boxes that are working with GPS and you have to actually load them with some money every sometime in special point or online or company can do it for you, there are also boxes with GPS that are sending you basically a receipt every single month or to your with GPS that are sending your company a receipt every single month for driving using paid roads. And you have also countries like Romania where you can buy a vignette online or in a special point and they don't have boxes you have to buy it and it's basically electronical in PDF file or they will just give you a paper receipt.

i would not continue to use google maps for trucking, as it does not show data based on truck speed. it also does not show truck speed, weight, width & height limits, truck tolls, drive bans, scales and so on. U have Upper, TruckLogics, ToroTMS, Sygic, Dr Dispatch and so on, for that.

I know man, but I'm using same transit roads that I know very well, google maps are just to show me traffic jams on the way, existing ones and new ones. When I'm entering some new city or new area then I have AmiGo from TomTom and TomTomGo for trucks.
