Instead of using paint i would either buy a blacked out bow tie or use automotive grade vinyl. Perks of vinyl is you can get it printed so if you wanted it done up with the Holstein pattern you can have a place print it for you or you can do it with a inkjet printer at home but you could have to spray it with a clear top coat after. Hope this helps!

I'm a fan of blacked out emblems. I used plastidip on my bowties front and back as well as the side "Silverado" letters, and they've lasted 3 years and you can take it off whenever you want if you don't like it. Less permanent than spray paint if you want to test out how it looks.

Glad to see you back, missed you, but understand your priorities...school work etc. Being an old vet I like your flag headliner. I know there are rules for flag etiquette but it does my heart good to see young people that are proud of our flag. Immediately after 9-11 (before your time) flags were flying everywhere, now not so much!

Use plastidip to change color of your emblems and grill. It's cheap, easy to clean up and removable. Best part: it doesn't ruin your original parts and if it starts to flake: peel it off and dip it again! My 4runner has had the same dip on its emblems for 6 years and its holding strong.

We have owned all three brands one way or another, they all have there issues. I kind of favored chevy, I have a 1/2 ton 2011 I have owned since new. 80k on it and it has never been in the shop except for maintenance, I have plowed with it for the last 5 years. I talked to a guy who has a brand new Silverado. It has been in for warranty work more than he has had it home!!! I like the black over the chrome, to!!!! Nice truck!!!!

Awesome looking truck. I got a 15 duramax Ltz with a RC 4” in the front and 2” in the back. I painted both of my bow ties black. I think it looks better than the gold.

Love your content! Love the Flag and the Marine Corp sticker, Semper fi. Beautiful truck, Ive owned a 2011 dodge ram power wagon, its a 3/4 ton truck 4x4, lockers front and rear and factory winch in the bumper, factory 35s i believe. I do regret getting rid of that truck. Right now i have a plane jane 2013 f150 4x4 5.0 work truck that gets 20 mpg plus on the highway, love the gas mileage but the Ram Power Wagon is the way to go. Take care.

Hey from Michigan worked at Ford and will only own Fords but have nothing against Dodges and Chevys. My friends and I always mess with each other over what's better and as long as Its not a Jap truck it's cool, now how chewed up is it to have TRD on their Trucks ? Don't they have a clue ? Love your videos and I've learned so much about farming and cows I never knew. Forgot how I came to your page ? It must be my love for green tractors, I have just 3 acres but I bought a X749 4 wheel drive and steer diesel with a 62in cut 12yrs old now and only had to do normal stuff to it, I love it. I'd love to operate one of those machines you run Just Awesome ! Keep the tractor videos coming.

i say wrap the whole truck in cow print vinyl. with some texas long horns on the front. you said some things were not done right. i would have waited for it to be done right vs. getting it fixed over and over and spending more and more money. but thats me.

I am 63 years old. The photo of your truck when you first got it, kinda looks like an "Old Man's" truck. The way you have it now, looks more like you. I have owned several makes and models over the years. They all have certain years or models that were lemons. Just make sure you do your research before buying something. A big plus, is how close a dealer is, in case you need to get it serviced or get parts. How well the dealer works with you is a plus also. And like you said, the checkbook usually decides what you can get. It sounds like you have gained quite a bit of knowledge and experience since you last purchased a vehicle. So trust that, and don't be afraid to ask Dad and Mom for their advice. In the end,.....it has to say "Claudia"!!!

So just an FYI paying the $100 for diesel with an average of 14mpg will save you a lot of money in the long run. You can easily get over 500 miles out of a tank compared to your truck that maybe gets 300 miles. BUT diesels are A LOT more expensive to fix. Diesels do last much longer driving wise though.

That's gotta be a 2015 or newer. Those steps on the bumper didn't come out until then. I also own a 2015 Silverado. I get 18 miles to a gallon and up to 27 on the highway. Lifting trucks kills fuel mileage. Nice looking truck.
