Thanks Jack for letting me into your world. My brother and I did a stint together in the Territory for a short time. He has continued on into MC work, while I focussed on the town/ city delivery. You guys literally carry Australia on your back, and I for one am grateful for your dedication, and all the sacrifices you and all the other truckies contribute towards our everyday living. Love the vlog. An idea for video content, how about a walkabout of your rig. I'm particularly interested in the auto transmission aspect. Heard of it, though never driven with it. Maybe that could be a video on its own. I'm used to roadrangers.

Another great video thank you. I wish you well. A few things that would be good, how the truck works, gear changing, air brakes etc, what truck you drive and why, what motor you have and why, fuel usage, road rules, drive times, mandatory breaks, number of km in a week. Talk to other drivers, in particular older and retired drivers from yesteryear. Night driving v day. Wet v dry. Loaded v empty. Tyre wear and milage. Costs in a week on the road. What you like most, and like least. As always stay safe. See you next time.

Suggestion. As you travel I see things out the truck window and wonder where you are. Also you see things that are familiar but cannot recall where they are. It would be very helpful to know where you are at any given time. You do label some places likes Cunninghams Gap Qld , so more of that. But the road signs showing places and destinations I find extremely helpful. Either film the sign when close so we can freeze the frame if we wish, or just freeze the frame in the video. It is good knowing your family and ambitions it makes your channel unique. All the best and I hope all your dreams come true.

Great series, enlightening view of another world most of us take for granted. Suggestions for future content: 1. Food on the road and health, how do you ensure good food and not cancerous vegetable oils or sugars. 2. Where to find good coffee on these routes given limited parking options 3. What it's like to bunk in the truck 4. How problematic are the authorities insofar as log books, roadworthiness and regulations etc 5. If possible some drone footage of truck(s) rolling 6. What it takes to be an owner driver or migrate to starting your own 7. Try to give us new routes, consider doing a drive for another company or friend somewhere new for fun 8. The radio lingo and what it means 9. Maintenance and behind the scenes things you attend to 10. Help advise of things car drivers may do unwittingly that place themselves and yourself at risk 11. Discuss more on engine reliability, type, km done, age of vehicle etc By the way, I've really appreciated your content thus far. You're articulate, patient and considerate when it comes to filming certain things or inconveniencing others. This is partly what makes your content great

- first part you’re doing right is engaging with your audience and asking what they want - travel vlogs are always great! Perhaps you can add in some places you go or if you meet up with other trucker friends - Do multiple Q&A’s. - Live streams of you just driving and chatting - Do product reviews of things you pack for your shifts, food you eat, how you eat it etc… - hours you do per week, how often you’re home? - road kill and what you do if you’re in wombat/kangaroo territory - do you slow down, would you swerve etc.. - do you help out other truckies at all? I.e. cops 😂 - do reviews of specific truck products (I don’t know them.. like how you charge your phone, recharge batteries on the go, how you heat up food etc..) - reviews of truck stops - radio chat / chatting to other drivers - turn signal introductions e.g. why do truck drivers always signal left/right/left kind of thing - do truck drivers notice good car drivers who let them in or move over etc.. - dash cam style footage of people not noticing you or the consequences e.g. someone who just cuts you off. - do you have a reverse camera? How do you actually know how close to docks you are or trailers etc.. - do you ever take your family in the truck? Are you allowed to? - sleeping setup I.e. shutout curtains etc.. - how does wind/rain/weather affect your driving and speeds? - what is compression braking ? - how to go through the gears - how much does owning your own truck cost you as an independent contractor vs working for a company? - pay? - with your brand when it expands the obvious thing is merch, but can you create something other truckies will want? You can probably do a lot of that in KZbin shorts but also create kind of clickbait hooks to get them to go to your channel and watch the full video. Alright that’s enough 😂

As someone who has had interest sparked in linehaul driving by watching yours and the Homeless Trucky’s vids, how to actually drive a truck doing linehaul would be a great video!! I only have a car licence so a rundown on how you go from a normal licence to MC licence would be great. I’ve always loved driving, not just for road trips but I love pushing and doing the long haul stints in the drivers seat. Have driven between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne heaps and love doing it. The freedom of the open road in front of you is awesome.

Hey mate I hope this can help you with some ideas. Best wishes. Depot food review series: Visit different truck stops and depots, sampling and rating the food, amenities, and overall experience at each location. Behind-the-scenes of truck maintenance: Offer an inside look at the maintenance routines, inspections, and mechanical repairs necessary to keep the truck running smoothly. Truck driver vlogs: Share daily life on the road, including beautiful scenery, interesting encounters, and the challenges faced by a line haul truck driver. Roadside attractions: Showcase interesting and unique attractions, landmarks, and local experiences along the east coast of Australia. "A day in the life" series: Chronicle a full day on the job, from pre-trip inspections to unloading at the destination, highlighting the many aspects of a line haul truck driver's work. Interview series: Connect with fellow truck drivers, sharing stories and experiences, as well as discussing the industry, camaraderie, and lifestyle. Safety tips and best practices: Share valuable information on truck driving safety, including defensive driving techniques, load securing, and fatigue management. Navigating Australia's unique weather: Discuss the challenges posed by different weather conditions on the east coast, such as cyclones, floods, and bushfires, and how drivers adapt and prepare. Long-haul health and fitness: Share tips and routines for staying healthy and active on the road, including truck-friendly exercises and meal planning. The future of trucking: Explore emerging technologies and trends in the industry, such as electric and autonomous trucks, and discuss how they might impact the future of line haul truck driving in Australia. These video ideas should provide a diverse and engaging content mix for the KZbin channel, giving viewers a comprehensive insight into the life and experiences of a line haul truck driver on the east coast of Australia.

drove 25 years all over europe. loved the driving, but not the stress that comes with it. time tables with narrow margines. and always someting going wrong. load not ready... long waiting for all kinds of diferend reasons. and last.... but not least.... 4 wheelers that tink they have to decide how and when you should be driving. no respect and no understanding. always wanted to come over there and drive trains. but don't tink that would ever happen. watch out for the stress, and keep the shining part upp. stay safe and keep trucking.

Only just recently got my mc licence been driving rigids for about 3yrs singles 1.5 now doing both hc and mc when i 1st did a few runs in the mc i thought youd have to go much wider around things admittedly you do have to abit but the b trailer tracks pretty well reversing them well that a whole different ball game haha

Yeah for sure mate the b trailer doesn’t cut as much as you think it would hey it took me months to learn how to reverse a double haha

Great start to vlogging Jack. There’s lots of stuff you can cover in more detail as you get more comfortable with it. I follow Trucking with Schmidt in the US which is a good example. Can’t wait until you get your own prime mover! 😉 keep it up!

The truck stop food reviews sound good for content ideas, even more in depth like where to shower and what you need to bring on each journey. Possibly a video on the BFM fatigue management course and videos on stuff you didn't expect before you started.
