Crane signals....fist with thumb up is up on the jib, thumb up with fingers gripping in and out is float the height while jib up. Thumb down just means the opposite. Small spiral down is down on the chain slowly. Big spiral is down quickly. Makes me want to stay in slinging watching that lot! Love it Tim and Shauny boyyy!

I was told by a sparkie years ago when I was an apprentice that all lights should be symmetrical. That included indicators and marker lights. If there were duel light clusters fitted or additional indicators fitted then they must all be working or the truck would fail it's MOT. In short, it's to ensure that all lighting remains symmetrical.

Won’t fail MOT for non working additional indicators any more…. All brake lights must work though (including non obligatory ones that are fitted) inspection manual wording was updated 2023 in regards to additional indicators.

Also get yourself a Fein Multi Tool Cuts/sands/Scrapes and so much more they are the Daddy of the Multi tool world and perfect for sanding down your Chassis nooks and crannies and along inside rails plus you can also cut out rusty parts and use for modding things?. Use mine a lot for when modding pc cases and motherboard trays so don't have to remove board when changing cooler blocks etc and installing water cooling system.
