Nice, when I opened MC it was quite difficult to get the trailers. because my authority was new. Only one broker started giving me trailers. Linden Tree Corporation. But they mainly have dry van trailers, not sure where to take flatbeds etc. And also a tip, make sure the tires are ok before you go!

Question about the Amazon loads, are you able to do Amazon loads with 1 truck? I keep hearing conflicting information about this.

Correct!!! New trailer load outs are bad news. I took one and got some scratches on the inside of one of the doors from one of the docks I backed in to and now they are charging me $900 to fix it.

Damn... Try to get you a trailer. Their selling/renting for peanuts nowdays.

@@pinoytrucking loadouts are worth it they pay you to move them but you get a week to two weeks to use them before you deliver they only pay a 100 to $500 to deliver but you can make more money. Just be cautious of the new trailers you pick up and who it delivers to. Make the broker and customer sign a release of liability from normal wear and tear damages as well as docking damages.

If I'm doing Power Only and find a load out i could use, and need to fill it. When I'm in the DATBOARD what Code do i use to find, Example- PO for Power only, What code do i need to be searching under to find a way to fill the load out.

I'm guessing you're running dry van? If so; it would be under Van.

Can you talk about the pay for the load out trailer? Can you negotiate the price they offer or just have to take what they offer and get your own load?

You negotiate anything. I always look at loadout trailer in this manner; if you’re in a market say Maine and you’re trying to negotiate a loadout. You need to get as much as you can because that area is terrible with freight coming out. That would be the opposite say; Chicago area… I hope that came out clear. Before I look at Loadout trailer. I would know about how much RPM I will be coming out of that area so I know how to talk to broker with LOADOUT rate. I hope that makes sense.

Load out trailers have to be returned to the same place where it was picked up or it will get drop at some specific place?

Depending on the contract agreement. Some PO picks up from point A to B then from B use trailer as a LOADOUT back to A. A lot of LOADOUT are being moved because they sold or they have to be relocated. Those usually go from point A to B

Your carrier has to sign up with relay.Amazon.com then he can give you access to the loadboard.

Check out Facebook page called power only owner operator. Might find a few there. Also get on these Amazon Facebook pages. You’ll be surprised that a lot of OO don’t know the meaning of a loadout but if you explain it to them I guarantee you’ll find a few that will bite.

If its road ready you renegotiate. You're the sole operator of that equipment when you take on the road make sure its DOT'd and road ready from registration, to inspection, to actual physical condition of that trailer.

As long as your DOT legal. BUT I would take hundreds of pictures and create a paper trail. Some of these brokers out here are scandalous.
