@@christygruber2283 I would assume he means a compression release engine brake, also called Jake Braking. Using an installed diesel engine mechanism to assist in slowing the truck and trailer. I remember when being a trucker was a real brotherhood. Like family & they took care of their trucker family. Didn't matter who you were, black white, brown. Trucker family was family and no matter what. Truckers took care of each there as well as thise in need. My wife & kids were stuck in a snowstorm in one of the driving lanes on interstate 84 in NY between Newburgh & Montgomery NY. They stopped their trucks on interstate 84 to block both drive lanes to help my family in need & broken down in traffic. I am forever grateful to those two Truckers. They were in the right place at the right time. Thanks to those two southern Truckers my wife and kids are safe. I wish I could find them and thank them for being the angels that there were that day. If you could ever find them I would love to talk to them to thank them for what they did that day. Appreciate you brother. Jtflava.
