Stay blessed I had to complete just about 12 drops the other day CA to AZ first 14 hours every thing was good . Only thing that sucked was my arrival time was one hour before my Reset time I ended getting my last 3 drops on time but man the weather was trip got windy on me rolling through Palm Springs but I got in safe I’m still trying to figure out how to make the big bucks while I finish out my 6 month contract with this company I’m in but I’m loving trucking and your videos are motivating I love seeing them Peterbelts glide by like space ships can’t wait till I get one let alone drive one . I'm EOD exempt too but I don't expect to be pulling vans and reefers and not have to have it. These brokers advertise to their clients that they can track the load, and the clients love that shit. If you don't want to do it then you're not as competitive as the guys that do. Toss a EOD in that truck and just use the GPS tracking to make the brokers happy.

Not using the ELD is all related to liability to the broker, insurance companys, and load insurance. Its based on risk to them. ELDs wouldnt be there if drivers weren't violating hours of service, plain and simple. Everyone will eventually be required to use ELD's. Might as well get on with it.
