Thank you very much. The only thing I have learned is to never go there. This place is very narrow and dangerous (it has been blacklisted). Drivers should not go there until the management of the place expands or finds a solution.

A place like this needs a yard dog to do all the work, either an employee or an outside contractor. Everyone drops their trailer and parks their rig up against the building in between alternate docks.
@Lu1gi74 жыл бұрын
I'll tell you a little story, since you have to take turns they gave me a dock number, I was nervous since the beginning because I know the place, so I arrived to my assigned dock and look to my possibilities, I started to do the maneuver going forward, going back, going forward then going back again till I give up, I just reach he exit and get in line again so when the guy who was asigning Docks saw me, he was like!! what happened? I just told him, dude I couldn't Park give me another one I'll take my turn again 🤣 and he was like okay.

Ya know, I've been watching your videos because I'm a month into it and can't back up to save my life, but I wonder if there are folks out there who have and use drones to help back up with a birdseye view like this. I could see that being very helpful.

It’s actually crazy how many places are actually setup like this. Edit: would love to get a chance to play this on my pc even if it’s available. I know iOS is gonna take some time still.

I sent you this scenario, the main problem is that when you arrive you take turns, so they give you the available dock when someone is leaving. It's not that you can just arrive and take the dock you want lol.

I was just here, but with a flatbed, they load the flatbeds on the East side of building, so it was easy for me to get loaded and out, but I walked around to the van side and holy shit, it was so unorganized. people wer yelling, screaming, honking horns, coming in from all different sides. As a new driver and a flatbedder, theres no way I could have gotten docked in the van side.

MANNNNN that WAS a tight fit wan't it lol. I really enjoy your videos and fully intend to see watch ALL of them. I'm on FB as well so I'll look you up. I'm really learning alot from your videos. I just finished a transport training school I attended but I failed my road test last week :( My backup skills are terrible and I'm having a ton of trouble. I need more training time so I will have to pay for a training day one on one with one of the schools instructors. It's going to cost about $600/day but there is no other way I can get wheel time otherwise. If there are any other tips or anything you feel that may help me, I'm all ears. I will need all the help I can get before my next road test. Your explanations are first rate, and actually enjoy watching them. And NO, this video was not boring in the least. I hope to get my AZ license soon, and get with a company that does long haul. I currently live in Ottawa Ontario Canada, and My goal is to travel to the states. I'm 58 yrs old and I'm eager to become a professional driver. Keep these great videos going too ok ? Mike

What part of the drive test are you struggling with?
@proudcanadian98163 жыл бұрын
@@MyTruckingSkills - ironically ... 🙄 backing up. If I can’t learn to do a 90 degree backup.... I cannot pass my road test... no road test no license. I’m having trouble recognizing what the trailer is actually doing, which way to turn and when, and just generally interpreting what the trailer is doing in relation to the angle of the tractor and how much room that I have and can do. That’s why I’m trying to do anything I can to get any kind of experience or knowledge in helping me learn this. Many people will say “shoot, anybody can learn to back up anybody can do it it’s super easy“. Well, I’m not just anybody. I am really having a hard time getting this concept. Some people might even go so far as to say “damn this guy is really dumb if he can’t learn to back up a 48’ trailer” 😔
@MyTruckingSkills3 жыл бұрын
My suggestion is, spend as much time as you possibly can playing level 6 on normal campaign mode. You brain will automatically get used to the way the trailer needs to be controlled. Trust me
