Ive used the sleeper window on blindside backing so many times then got a truck without that window it was terrible.

Do you have videos on how to correct your trailer if you get too close to the other truck on the left?

So I've seen drivers do the 45° all the time but in school I thought the 90° was a better option. I didn't do the 45° in school, but I feel like at this point a 90° is better in terms of having your trailer a lot closer to the hole then doing a 45°. I dont know, I just prefer doing a 90° haha

How about guys that put on their headlights in the dark (directly next to space you’re trying to get in) because the hare afraid you’ll hit their truck?? Problem is, they are blinding you and making it worse! Don’t they realize putting on marker lights would achieve same result without blinding you??
@MyTruckingSkills4 жыл бұрын
I've never heard of that before. That's so stupid of them

The new freightliner Cascadia and some Volvos have the bright white "eyebrow lights" sooo annoying trying to back in next to them too.

@@Bendigo1 I wish there was a way to disable that
@Bendigo12 жыл бұрын
@@vendingdudes I think there is, I know shutting off the truck works. But I don't know if there is a setting or what it is that can be changed in the menu.

I noticed you don’t use your drone anymore?

LA has too many restrictions on drones and it's too windy where I can most of the time. And it's just too much bloody work!!

This isn't realistic. At 2:43 and 7:24 the way to truck is positioned it would hit the wall at that rate if you backed up more. But look at the trailer when he backs up and literally shifts itself without hitting the wall. Impossible.
@MyTruckingSkills3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for your comment. But I have been backing up real 53 foot trailers for nearly 20 years, and you are just going to have to trust me when i say i know what i am talking about. That is exactly what would happen at the angle the truck is at and where the trailer axles are at, if they were further back then it would have hit the wall. You have to know that the dragging point of the trailer is the very center for the all the axles.
