Trucking up and over Mt Messenger December 2023

It has been a while since we were last up here filming, not far from where I live. Mt Messenger Taranaki region, North Island New Zealand. Mt Messenger with all its corners and steep climbs is an enjoyable place to drive a truck over and film I hope you enjoy this video Copyright Will Bishop

10:47 those Alexander Scania G540 are good looking trucks, 8x4 with the low cab. We had a 40' generator transported by one of them, it looks really awesome because it was the same colour as the truck same height, very tidy.

Short draw bars for more length in the unit for more freight. long draw bars mainly for the bulk units so they can unload both truck and trailer without disconnecting by jack knifing thanks for watching.
