Great skills AND a lot of nerve. My stress levels were running high just watching this …. Brought back memories of 40ft spread axles and London. Even with a rigid, still going to be tight. Maybe help you a little with a 4 wheel unit and rear steer trailer - but it’s too sensible for planners - or maybe just not available. Great vid - subscribed 😅

Used to deliver to farms in a 3.5t van and even that was too big for some of these roads. It's impressive how you get that HGV around those corners without touching anything. Loving the way these are edited and stuff too, definitely subscribing.

I drive class 1 and pick up from farms every day, namely potatoes. These roads arent designed for class 1 trucks so i feel your pain. Good to see you getting out and having a look before just going for it, we have a lot of drivers that just go for it, damage something then moan afterwards. Keep up the good content 👍

Worst thing about these nasty places is when you arrive, a lot of the times you've got to do it all over again to get out 😢
@FalloutMemphis Жыл бұрын
If you continue to deliver to these kind of places your going to turn grey before your time. The planner probably plans your run from his bed without researching where he’s sending you, then you go to the job stressing out by yourself. Check your run before you leave, if the planner hasn’t thought about it properly then refuse to do it

Those roads are tight enough in my Sprinter Luton van, it’s 9 foot 9 edge of mirror to edge of mirror. I deliver to a lot of places at farms too. Some skills going on there mate, you’ve got to be so vigilant about the hedges and stone walls that are hidden by them. I hope your trip got better after this drop. It’s Dan who bumped into you last week at Michaelwood on the M5 👍🏼👍🏼 wild bean coffee is the best haha Edit… Your subscribers are growing by the week wow 👌🏼👌🏼

I also drive on general haulage, and for us, we get this sort of nonsense NOW AND AGAIN! But this seems to be happening to you all the time. Do you think that H&M is taking the piss? It doesn't have to be this way, all the time, brother. It's time to move on elsewhere. Money's much the same - far less stress. Respect, young man. You deserve better than this.

Thing is they can give these jobs to this guy who seems to actually be ok on the lanes or they could give these jobs to other guys who wouldn’t have the confidence to even attempt this or write off the wagons, I do these drops everyday on farm deliveries with animal feed so you just get used to it after a while.
@TheDiscofool Жыл бұрын
I had same problem but the car had its steering on full right lock, and my wheel just touch their tyre... Man did she kick off when she came. She claimed for a full new wheel and tyre, plus she said she had to pay for her suspension to be check and claimed for a courtesy car..... Nearly cost me my job.... there was no damage what so ever.... Moral of story, " be careful..." Keep up good work sir

Some of the parking I see in my area is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody considers big vehicles like this. I ride a motorbike and have a small car but I always park it as considerately as possible even if that means giving "too much" space. The amount of people parking that even my small BMW can just about get through if just too common. I understand they don't expect HGVs but the truth is they are important and are needed everywhere at some point, and it's things like fire engines what if they can't get through? People really are inconsiderate but also blissfully unaware!

This is a local school with no parking for school staff. This sort of lorry shouldn't be sent down these lanes a rigid should of been used. The school had been there for years and staff and parents need to park. Whoever asked to get something delivered down that lane. Must know its tight already to drive .

Smaller lorries should be used more. Artics have become too much used for all loads and they're often not appropriate, like this example. To the driver, what a difficult job you have.
