Sitting in traffic jams, brings back memories. Not a big deal for trucks with automated transmission. Having that third pedal is another story. Your smooth like butter between the gears and you let the motor do the work. That has always impressed me about your driving skills. You always have great videos and the content is changing. Tater Tot seems to be a real nice gal, you have done well Dad. Ya the video is different with out your four legged friend. Stay safe and thanks for the video.

Hey Kurt, They have a Great Dane in Dallas off of Loop 12, about a mile south of 183, but I think it's more of a huge shop where they receive new trailers that aren't quite ready, and finish making them ready for sale, plus they repair used trailers there! Back in '80 when I worked for ThermoKimg here in Ft. Worth, there were time I'd have to go over to Great Dane, and take it back to the shop where we would install a new refer unit one it, and then I'd take it back over to Great Dane for the customer to pick up there, or they would pick it up at ThermoKimg here in Ft. Worth! Just a little fyi!..FYI!...😁👍 Also, I hope you guys had a good 4th, and you go to see some fireworks!... 🎇 🎉🎊

For a while in 2002 I had an every Monday 41,000 truckload set at -10 continuous from Zanesville, OH to Silver Springs, MD. I always weighed it at the local Loves every week, had it set right and was always cool. One time the Cat Scale was out of service and nowhere else convenient. So I just figure "It's the same load, I'm OK" so I motor. I crossed the OH 70E scales nearby and they gave the green light. So I know it's cool. I cross the MD scales on 70 and they pulled me around because I was 800lbs over on my trailer. I went in and paid the $32.50 fine, and asked the scale master if he wanted me to make adjustments and re-weigh. He said he did not care what I did and I should go away. I went out, slid the trailer one hole back, and went on my way.

tires must be able to withstand the legal axle pressure, by gaining more weight on the axles, you apply tires to a greater pressure than they are approved for. it can cause tire explosion because they get too hot

Early in my career, (late 89’s) I was hauling building material from White City, OR. I had 4 drops in Denver and 1 in Colorado Springs. I made the four in Denver and if I could make the last drop, I could get reloaded that night in Denver and head for home. 25 was shut down due to an accident and I couldn’t get off to run over to 83. I was upset and quit vocal over the radio. Someone said in a calm voice that someone died in the accident and their family was about to get a phone call. That brought me back to the ground. After that, I spent the time sitting in prayer. Perspective is a wonderful thing.
