The burnout smoke should be white, but it's almost like charcoal. It's not a big deal, but it's noticeable considering how great the rest of the game looks.

Glad I’m not the only one that noticed. Smoke never really looks good in any racing game so far but this game has some of the worse looking tire smoke, the dirt when he started doing a burnout in the grass looked even worse lol but long as the games good then guess we can overlook it for now.

Thanks for the video. The only thing left that we haven't seen yet are green flag pit stops. Perhaps a quick 13% race with the tire and fuel set to 4X, and removing the stages will force a couple of green flag pit cycles.

The sounds are absolutely spot on, absolutely incredible job of 704Games - Can't wait to get my hands on this game. First time I've been excited about a NASCAR game since NTG:2011 and likely also the first game that won't be a complete disappointment since all the way back to the Dirt to Daytona days. I remember when the truck series was introduced and was all kinds of cool. Now, at least to me, it seems like it's been relegated to something akin to a junior league that's a feeder for xfinity, despite having a nice pool of veteran drivers and a good mix of new blood.

This genuinely looks like the best offline NASCAR game since NR2003. The draft, contact and gaps between vehicles doesn't seem perfect, but hopefully it will at least be a good simcade game. Looking forward to seeing some clips at non-plate tracks and longer races (including green flag stops)

One mini mistake I noticed is that the first groove in the tri-oval isn't less banked than the 2nd groove up to the wall. I think it's a pretty big aspect of the Talladega experience as most drivers usually struggle when in line on that bottom because of the less degree of banking. Maybe 704 can update that? Probably not, but hey, the game still looks pretty darn good!

Jeff would you be able to show pit stops next video? Nobody that has pre-release coverage of Nascar Heat 4 has any coverage of actual pit stops, it's extremely disappointing. I don't mean pitting while under caution where it does a really lazy auto skip of the entire thing. I mean pitting while under green to see how the whole sequence goes. Is there any change from them since Nascar Heat 1-3? Are you actually penalized now by flying into the pits at 150 mph? I get that you don't need to pit at all when you're only racing 13% with very few laps (i know, i know, nobody wants to watch an hour long youtube video of you racing 150 laps), but for those of us that love more realism, and will be racing longer laps, we'd love to see how pit strategy comes into play with Nascar Heat 4. I know that Nascar Heat games are arcade games and not simulation like iRacing, but I'm really hoping the devs put effort into pitting in Nascar Heat 4. A good pit strategy wins races.

So impressed with graphics and improved physics. I hope they continue to improve it, because it's really turning into something, and I can see it becoming something incredible in the next few years. I really hope the next thing they add is the ability to control the vehicle at all times, as well as getting rid of the AI stuttering during cautions.

How is the damage graphics? Like if you hit someone hard does the front end crunch up? Past games you hit the wall and doesn't really look like it. Main reason I haven't bought 2 and 3.

What I love about Hailie is that she's taking her time. We see all too often that a young driver thinks they're ready to move up and end up contending for top 20s each week, when they're in a car capable of top 5s.

I know she is taking her time but as a fan, I want her to move up into the trucks full time and Xfinity part next year. I just believe that she will learn more about what the big series would be like and I think learning from those series would be more relevant to her. Saving her equipment/tires, using different lines, learning from veterans, etc.

I'll always advocate for PC if your PC is capable of running the game smoothly. Visuals are better, and you usually get updates earlier than consoles.
