Trucks!

Yep. Following Old Faithful, some of you were hoping to see another story from the Skarloey Railway, and I did indeed have it in mind to follow up Old Faithful with this banger. (I mean, if it's got a crash in it, I've got to do it, right?)
Now for those who aren't in the know yet, the day this is premiering, I will be in Northern Georgia for Thanksgiving Break, but will be back home by the week after, and boy you lot are in for a treat for what is coming next.......but I shall say no more, and say (For those in the US) Happy Thanksgiving.

It makes more sense in the RWS for the trucks to mistake Peter-Sam for Sir-Handel.

either way I think the tvs version are better because having all the engines red is just bland and boring with no variety except for duke and rusty

This is definitely different then the TV version. Even a bit colder. Like how Peter Sam replied to Sir Handel on the trucks hating him and Sir Handel wanting to give Gordon a piece of his mind. Wish we could see the accident happening instead of what looked to be an explosion off the distance, but I suppose it's the limitations there are in Trainz. So it's understandable. Either way, I think this is a great adaptation to the original RWS story of this. Well done. Keep up the great work and take your time working on your other videos.

Sometimes, the lack of showing the accident can show just how impactful and severe the accident really is. Yeah, we saw the crash in the TVS, but it's still a serious one. Furthermore, there are more loaded trucks which doubled the impact in this version.

Love the use of the James Horner cue "A Fighting Chance To Live/Destruction of the _Enterprise_ " from _Star Trek III: The Search for Spock_ as the loaded slate cars began trying to scrag Peter Sam thinking he was Sir Handel.

Hits a lot harder in the feels than any version I’ve seen/read. I mean that in a good way. You know, those trucks kind of cut their noses off to spite their faces. They are the ones who got destroyed. Which seems to usually be the outcome when they get up to their games. Lol

I know what happened: the truth about that is it's all Gordon's fault. Sir Handel had no other choice, he didn't actually want to do it so he fell for it. Everyone turned on him and Gordon got away with it.

Only two nitpicks: The crash could have been better. Trainz is a big handicap there, but it would have been nice to see something. Other complaint is that Peter Sam and Sir Handel did not emit any smoke. I would have personally added some form of smoke during editing, but I would imagine that would have been very time consuming, so I understand why you didn't do that. Not your best work, but it's still very good.

In the RWS and TV series when the trucks hit Peter Sam, Peter Sam didn't have extra trucks in front of him before he gets by the 1s on top of the incline. Also how are the trucks talking when they don't have faces like the other faceless coaches? :/

Okay, that accident could've been a little better. Shouldn't the empty slate cars have gone down the hill once the full ones snapped the cable? Use your head, man! Also, there's no way such a crash would've caused an explosion cloud for all to see; the loud sounds are enough. Nonetheless, good job on this adaptation. Makes me wonder, though, why you mixed the RWS standard gauge models with the TVS narrow gauge models...

Thanks for the input on the crash, as I will admit in my part it could have been better than what's onscreen now. Also as WNW's RWS SKR engines have eye mechs, they're not compatible with controller support, which is why I used the TSI stuff with their RWS Liveries on.

The quarrymen at the top of the incline would have applied the brakes in the winding house when the rope broke to prevent the empty trucks from running away, so it makes sense for them to stop halfway up.
