I’m in 🇬🇧 and at our truck shows most take just their units, not fully laden. Sooo good to hear them pulling under load 😍😍💨💨💨

What a beautiful rig set up and one of the most beautiful videos, and i have a question: Are they V8 or something because they sound very different than American truck and 2nd from where are these truck coming from ❤
@european.truck.spottingАй бұрын
Yes, there is a difference in the sound of European trucks or American ones. The companies in this video are mostly based in the Netherlands.
@dbclass407511 күн бұрын
Highly-specced Scanias are likely to be V8. Majority are I6. Sound difference may be due to exhaust design or crankshaft layout (cross vs. flat).

Also, our lowboys are typically 48-53' long, and triple axles are rated up to 120 tons (240,000 lbs, sometimes even heavier!) and to help spread that weight out, most haulers tend to use jeep dollies and booster axles, because sometimes the loads are extremely heavy, but professionals do make almost $400K a year and most people actually use Cummins! The X-15 Performance series is rated 565-605 horsepower and 1850-2050 lb-ft of torque. But we'll probably soon see the Scania r770 and s770 in the US, Bruce Wilson has one already being shipped to the us, made for the US specifically. People who run older trucks typically run either CAT or the monstrous Cummins KTA 1150 (19L) rated 600-750 horsepower! But, Volvo, their VNX will be getting the D17! Which is rated up to 780 horsepower! But 605 horsepower is nothing compared to European trucks , which as an American, i love the looks of them! And that's not mentioning the Kenworth C500. That thing is truly a beast! Tractor variants can go up to 10x10 with twin steer!

I know a lot of trucks nowadays are automatics, but are these oversized load trucks automatics? Or do they use manual transmission when they are configured for heavy/oversized loads?
