Back in 1990 till about 1992 not a full two years but close I did a frame off restoration on a 78 K5 blazer Cheyenne Powder Coating was just becoming something of a thing back then, but nobody had an oven large enough to do a full-size 4 x 4 frame so unfortunately I never got it done, but I did sandblast and brought back a lot of memories seeing Zach out there doing that frame at the time basecoat clearcoat urethane was just coming out. I believe it was very minimal bodywork done to the body plus all new GM fenders doors and hood because you could still get them at the time which I’m absolutely glad I did. Can’t wait to see the finished product. keep up the great work both of you 2. 😎

regarding the "surface rust" u must clean it to a bare metal that is in fact clean before sealing it. there is special acids that get mixed in paint n sealers that are ment to go on surface rust. shit is still rusty under the paint
