How about doing individual videos on the pros and cons of various engines S60 12.7/14, ISM, C12/13, ISX, D13, D15, etc. Good/bad/ugly of each one. Talk 20 minutes on each one - what goes wrong with them, how much they cost to fix, what to look for, etc.

I was loving you until you crapped on the T2000's I had one and I loved it. It was an 07 Acert C15 though. It was great until some shop worked on my transmission and it went up in flames. But anyways I like your channel, very educational. I am looking at buying a 2016 Volvo 780 down in the Chicago area and was wondering if yall could do a prepurchase inspection. It's from Compass

I have to be honest, there was some jargon in there that were way over my head. I look forward to maybe some breakdowns or even “callbacks” to this video as what you’ve mentioned start to apply to future videos. Say for example, you have a KZbin viewer that stops by the shop with a 2007 Columbia that chews through kingpins like there’s no tomorrow. I can’t wait for you guys to Start selling PM guides for specific but commonly driven make & model trucks; such as the cascadia, Columbia and Volvos. Thanks again!

Those are good engines. Every engine has it's issues but they all have emission issues after 2007. So the pre DPF 14L Detroit is a very good engine. I would buy it. I'm on a hunt to find a clean Classic XL with that motor.

Never! There’s a reason why it so cheap. Unless you buy it and run it like crazy make some good cash with and when it comes down to any major repairs get rid of it there’s a reason why they never hold their value.

would you take a C15 over a 60 series for OTR long haul in the Columbia or volvo? 2005-2007

If you're speaking about pre-emmission then they are very comparable. The c15nz is the most desirable and can put out more horsepower then the 60. BUT, the 60 series is alot cheaper to fix (look into inframe price) and in my opinion a little more reliable. I didn't see the year, so I think those years your speaking on might have an egr.

Thanks for the video. Why wouldn’t a 2007 CAT C15 have EGR? I thought it had EGR since that is the first emissions that was added in 2003 and DPF was added 2007 too, no?
