I have a 2014 Volvo d13 xe package truck at 920k miles with injector cups that have never been changed. No injector issues either. The key to it is to not run your truck all night. I use a webasto heater in the winter and and rv ac unit with a generator for ac during the summer months. Most people wake up and regen every morning that heat from burning the gasses and having everything that hot screws the life on everything. I regen maybe once every 5 months if that. That is your key don’t have the truck on.

Hey bud I just bought a 2012 nvm D11. Has the wabsto heater ? But no controlls ? It looks like it was installed correctly and has a green light bulb that stays on. Only controls are on the wall in the sleeper for the fan controls and the normal cool to hot setting dial. How does the unit come on ?

The 7th injector is not an issue if you clean this a every 50 k!Very important to not break the 8mm bolts is to remove them when the manifold is hot!If you try when is cold there is a risk for breaking them!When you reinstall everything back, make sure you put new bolts and gasket (you buy this separately for 25$) and put anti seize high temperature in there!

Good video guys! In Australia my truck is grossing 88t, the valve drops on cylinder 5 and 6. It get pulled into head and drops. If engine turned off quickly you can save the liner and piston. Otherwise new piston liner and cylinder head. Also air bag suspension actuator valve left and right side. 2010 FH 540

In Europe Volvo we’re using SCR or EGR for Euro4 & 5 emissions. SCR being more reliable so became a customer preference. For Euro 6 emissions they are using EGR, SCR and dpf.

I am going to have to replace an I shift clutch. Due to the fact that it has a clutch position sensor, can the flywheel be resurfaced, or does it have to be replaced?
@w0560075683 жыл бұрын
I do hope that you might make a playlist about the steps you have / will take to resurrect that older International truck so that it is safe and capable of real commercial work. I would also welcome your thoughts on possibly running and maintaining a truck like this (eg availability and pricing of quality spares) looking into the future.
@TruckYoo3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan! We do have plans for the international. The shop has been busy, so we are keeping all of our bays open for other trucks at the moment. You all will be the first to know when we are able to work on the international. I'm excited to work on it as well ;)

Many thanks for your reply. Since it has been a while since you got it home a brief summary of what you have done up to now would be most helpful before moving on. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

What's the difference between the European volvo engine and the American volvo engine?
@2Pish3 жыл бұрын
european trucks have much more horsepower, are designed for cabovers, and don't have as much efficiency as american volvo engines
