Didn't we blow our military budget on tampons in the men's washrooms? Edit: I wrote turdeau a couple of days ago, suggesting that he could have bragged at leading NATO with the tampon dispensers. @@amymason156 What are you talking about! The CAF is obsessed with D.E.I. and fulfilling their quotas when it comes to that point. If your first nations and you show any interest at all, your like gold to them and they'll send you on the next raven program. Their main hunting grounds for recruits these days are universities and colleges( and their not getting high level people as far as i can tell). To be honest, we could use some old fashion people with skills or rural folk with hard work ethic. Also the salaries for tech or trade people are just not that attractive compared to civilian jobs out there.
@amymason15626 күн бұрын
@@stepbord1426 You're on point with the lack of incentives, but you and they are missing a key and growing demographic, people who can't look forward to having land, inheritance, a family, education, or good job, nothing but spending all of their income on rent and their savings on groceries while wasting away doing gig work, data entry, serving and call centre jobs. Sure, they want rural people and they're right to want them, but they're needed to drive trucks and work the land and there's not enough of them as it is. Cities, meanwhile, are overflowing with penniless, hopeless young people whose future would already be bleak if WW3 wasn't threatening to come in a year or two. No one else wants them, but our allies have a tradition of recruiting the urban poor going back to the Gilded Age. We don't, it seems that in our culture we just tell them to stop eating avocado toast and expect them to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and take out a lifetime of student loans. Let's call this what it really was; a globe trotting escape from Canadian reality on a nice jet with good food and a photo op, coinciding with a NATO meeting.

It is so damn disgusting that Canada is being laughed at by NATO allies. Heck, on Canada Day outside Parliament I probably watched more rotary engine planes fly above me than fighter jets. That right there spoke volumes! Are we going to use WOKE SLING SHOTS next in the fields? Uugh!!

Does NATO know JT & Freeland have robbed Canadians with excess taxes, and that large numbers of the population are unable to pay their rent, bills and buy food ? Do they know JT has put us in more debt than all previous PM's put together ?! Do they know this debt is unsustainable and future generations will be burdened with it endlessly ? I doubt it.

We brought in 10 million people within 8 years. Now we have an education crisis because we don't have enough schools, or teachers that speak English or French as a first language, we don't have enough educated engineers to build the schools to Canadian building codes because we have extreme weather conditions, and buildings need to be built to withstand extreme cold, then rain and mud, then extreme heat, then back to rain and mud, then back to extreme cold trying to sput the buildings out of the frozen Earth. Then theres the Justice system crisis we are in, we don't have enough lawyers, judges, police, police cars, corrections officers, or jails, or the engineers that know Canadian building codes to build them. Then there's the Healthcare crisis, we don't have enough nurses, doctors, pharmaceutical techs, hospital equipment, beds, or hospitals, and the engineers that know how to build to our building codes. Then theres the housing crisis, we don't have enough educated engineers to build all the housing we need so we have a massive homeless crisis now, and the new Canadians have the new comer act, where they get government help to buy homes, but no home born Canadians can buy homes because they are too expensive. It all boils down to, too many people too fast, and not enough educated people to fix our systems, so we can get out of this mess. There's other crisis going on as well, like our farms lands not being able to produce enough fast enough, so good prices are going through the roof. Anyway, you get it. I know this is not politically correct, and i shouldn't say anything about it, because people come from countries that are worse off, and i want to save the world too, but our country, and communities are broken now. Such a shame. Also, crime is thru the roof, because nobody can afford anything, and so many new scams are going on. I watched a few men just walk out of the store with carts filled with T.V.s like it nothing. It police have said so many cars are being stolen, and sent to the middle East that it's better to just let your car be stolen. We are told that theres so many being stolen that the police wont be able to get to you, so just let them be stole, to try to stop them. Where beforehand the police would be right there, and if you could slow them down the cops would be there. Now they just say let them go, now all day long all you hear are police cars constantly. Crazy what is going on. Anyway, sorry for saying all the things that are going on. I kind of got on a tangent about the news, and truth of Canada. Please don't come here. We are full...

Then you have Freeland in charge. After that you have the central banker Mark Carney in charge, etc.etc. Not only that, but you'll make a martyr out of the great hero, Trudeau, and many stupid Canadians will weep and moan and statues will be made in his honor, with exquisite detail being paid to his hair and fancy socks. They will put up big brass plaques on all these statues with a description of all his valiant efforts at saving us from climate change. Some would cheer, but more would mourn. Covid taught me that most Canadians want to be told what to do and that most like to have tyrants in charge so they don't have to think for themselves. I loved Canada and my fellow Canadians before Covid. Now I see reality. 🖕🖕!

Been nine years of both liberal and media blah blah. AS a taxpayer we need a full recall process that happens swiftly with a significant amount of votes which either forces an election or allows for the opposition to form government. The system is broke by progressiveness and corruption. And Canadians suffer in silence. Time for real change.
