I think people vote for the party not the person, that's what I did in 2019, considered myself liberal so I voted for the liberal guy after doing absolutely 0 research (my bad). There's certainly some but I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt the majority of people who support the party do so because they like the party. @@metazeen Unlike the old days, when voting Liberal you really need to take a good look at the leader. The backbencher you vote for is required to toe the party line or be turfed from caucus. The party leader has too much power and influence. It's the party leader's character that we should be looking at. As for Trudeau he's given us very good reason to never trust him. It's long past time for Trudeau to go and let someone else get this country back on track.

I thank Ontario for voting for a nice hairdo and name recognition over the economist. If Canadians followed Alberta's lead when it comes to voting, Canada would be an economic power house today, and we'd all be doing a lot better. Immigration would have stayed at normal levels, so our housing would have been affordable.

Its overdue. CRA is a private collectors agency, its not elected or part of the government. So people every year voluntarily give their money to people who are essential a private business like KFC or McDonald's. They don't have the legal authority to punish anyone, no one ever signed a contract with them so no one owe's them any payment for services. Canadian's need to wise up fast!

How stupid. According to the Real estate association of Canada, under Harper house prices rose 60%, but only 57% under Trudeau. AND under HARPER and PP I lost my last house due to their recession. AND PP's 'pay as you go' housing plan is a cash grab for developers (some of his biggest donors) because it holds YOUR TAX MONEY hostage to pay developers yet only guarantees those homes to me affordable for FIVE YEARS. She forgets the low income people whose retirement fund is in equities or real estate that will trigger more than 250k gains, accumulating over decades, though only once. Trudeau's original quote was referring to Harper/Poilievre's inability to stimulate the economy in 2009, when they disproportionately tipped the scales to make the rich richer, while 300,000 working Canadians lost their jobs. Trudeau said: "The commitment needs to be a commitment to grow the economy and the budget will balance itself." No wonder PP likes taking that quote out of context so much, the context was HIM!🤣😂🤣

In 2006 they doubled gov't backing of private insurers to $200 Billion and invited doomed US lenders like AIG to "innovate" the previously well-protected Canadian market, which forced CMHC to also insure terrible mortgages, which caused the price of housing to peak even higher than the US. Now the Conservatives want us to forget what a stupid mess they made last time they were in charge, under Harper who was supposed to be an economist. Now libertarian Poilievre wants to really burn the place down. Before that Mulroney destroyed the economy and it took the libs 9 years to get our AAA credit rating restored. This was a very well done video.. it speaks to everyone of my concerns that I have right now. One other thing that I don't know if she mentioned was that this government has ballooned out the federal public service by something like 50%. Extremely irresponsible expansion of the size of the public service. These are people that live in Ottawa and earn substantially more than the average Canadian who also receive very luxurious retirement benefits.
