Locally where I live, it’s apparent that most of the workers in the fast food chains are recent arrivals from foreign countries. There is no way these people can afford to live here and sustain themselves with the low wages they earn. These jobs used to go to local teens to help them earn some pocket money and gain some work experience while living at home and going to school. They were never meant to provide a living wage where you could buy a house and a car and raise a family and be a productive member of society. One good thing is that I have stopped eating out of these places because most of the time I couldn’t understand the person at the drive thru intercom due their poor grasp of the English language. Too frustrating.

as someone who just finished their schooling let me tell you it's even worse then you think, a lot of these students aren't even being vetted on if they would be a good fit for their university. Cheating is at an all time high on campuses. I went to UPEI for Computer Science, And we had an issue where over HALF of all the first years in CS were caught cheating! and we had been hearing reports this wasn't just an ongoing issue on our campus, But also other institutions! These International students are being robbed blind as a lot of them won't even finish their degree because they never had the vetting to be checked if they should even be in these programs to begin with! edit: the worst part is this is just scratching the surface of issues this has caused.

It 100% is. I’ve worked in private schools owned by foreign business owners. Nearly every student plans to get their residency and bring their parents AND grandparents over. Many students never show up for school, or disappear within the first weeks or months of school b/c they only use the student visa to get into the country. I worked in one high school where I would not be surprised that if someone were to do a serious audit, they’d likely find fake documents, kids who are in their 20’s, gang members and/or political tools being seeded here to serve certain purposes that aren’t beneficial to Canadians. Over 10 years ago I was trying to warn people, saying we don’t have the infrastructure for any of this. Boomers retiring while importing foreign seniors as well is recipe for turning our healthcare and housing crisis into a completely unmanageable and unsafe situation for everyone - present Canadians and new immigrants. Then in 2020, Covid happened, and who did they start injecting first with their mandated injections and how many have died and/or will die in the coming years as a result. Meanwhile, foreigners were/are not mandated to have taken these injections - and most have fake vaccine certificates or easy access to them if they need them for employment etc.
