The shovel drop at the end…priceless. This was a much better conclusion to the killer storyline as Sookie may have ran away for her life and could’ve been the typical damsel in distress but in the end, being brought to life, did end Rene’s murderous reign. It was a joint effort between Sam, Bill and Sookie together.

well he likes her and he just wanted to help. i don't like the fact that he's a dog either but it did help because he used his sense of smell to find her, and he did distract the dude enough for sookie to grab the shovel and stuff.

Dogs run much faster and have a much bigger bite PSI than humans. He would have done 10x the damage as a dog than a human. So no. Turning was a good choice.

When I was looking at the last seconds of the video, I got thinking how absolutely hilarious those last few seconds are when taken out of context. A butt naked man burying a charred body hurriedly while a woman stands 2 feet away sobbing, not paying the least bit of attention to the naked fellow. She grew up in New zealand though watch her older interviews from 2001 and her accent used to be really strong but obviously staying the the U.S. changed it a bit. But I'm sure when she goes home she sounds more kiwi!!! But now her accent sounds more british because her fiance Stephen Moyer is from the and they live there with his children.

Btw--It's not in book 3 that Sam turns into a lion and there's a Were fight--It's book 8. He can turn into anything he wants he just prefers a dog since they're less threatening to humans.
