The politicians of either party have come around into thinking that it's about "NUMBERS" [like the NYPD QUOTA system] in the sense that the 🇺🇸 USA LOOKS better when compared to the other "Industrialized Nations" when it has a "lower prison/jail/incarcerated population. So in order to be in a "moral position" to criticize other nations who "DO NOT HAVE THE LIBERTIES/FREEDOMS/DEMOCRACY the USA has," the USA needs to "reduce the APPEARANCE" of the prison/jail/incarcerated population. Many other Industrialized "G-7 Nations" and others who have different types of Governmental Ideologies; communism, Socialist, Socialist-Democracies Ect., have lower PRISON POPULATIONS than the USA PER CAPITA. Also, gives an appearance of a "More EQUITABLY DISTRIBUTED WEALTH" because as we know, although some wealthy can & do commit crimes & go to prison, by en large its the poor & working-class who are the majority incarcerated and are treated differently by the U.S. Criminal Justice System. These "Bail Reform" policies are part of that effort to reduce the incarcerated population in the USA. I don't agree with it because I am a firm believer in "DON'T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME." So the USA has had lots of failures in this realm since the 1980's & you can make a case for going back even further. Look at the INCARCERATED/PRISON POPULATIONS of other nations and you would be surprised how many and even WHICH NATIONS have LESS INCARCERATED than the USA, but meanwhile the USA MAINSTREAM MEDIA Propaganda talks about them as if these nations were giant prisons & have no freedom, BUT yet their people have the freedom to go out at 3:00am and not worry about getting robbed or becoming victims of crime at the percentage of someone in the USA & that is also a "freedom" but would rarely be mentioned as such by the media. It's all about the NUMBERS; the % of the population incarcerated and the appearance of Equitable Wealth Distribution that goes with it.
@bxjibaro732 жыл бұрын
@Alonso Redondo yes and that is done by both - Republicans & Democrats alike, one side "feels" the election was stolen but only when they lose. While the other side "feels" the others are sore losers because they CANNOT WIN CASES IN COURT TO PROVE IT. Just look at what happened to RUDY GHOUL-iani & Syndey Powell who got their LAW LICENSES REVOKED for bringing FRIVOLOUS/FRAUDULENT Cases regarding WIDESPREAD Voter Fraud and FAILED TO WIN CASES IN ALL LEVELS OF COURT. So much for your "feelings" because "FACTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS." If you CANNOT bring evidence/proof speaks volumes for LAW ENFORCEMENT & the General Public NOT B/S conspiracy theories that are pure foolishness. And the INDEPENDENT VOTERS make the final determinations. Then there are others who do as the people were advised in the movie "BREWSTER'S MILLIONS" & Vote 🗳 "NONE OF THE ABOVE!"

They’re meant to go after so-called minorities, though. They’re just pawns of the politicians and elite. So yeah, it’s not so much them, as it is the protocols set in place, which set a certain tone/narrative. When will the masses help to dismantle the System, so that police won’t be needed in the first place? In homogeneous societies, they don’t rely on the cops like that because they see each other as equals.

As insane as it is that Judges are forced to let extremely dangerous criminals right back out with no bail it’s what New Yorkers want. They had their chance to change things and voted for Hochul. Made their bed and now have to sleep in it
