This Undertale AU swaps your favorite Sonic cast with the original Undertale cast, in this instance, Sonic The Hedgehog replaces Sans The Skeleton which also swaps the final boss theme from MEGALOVANIA to TRUE COLORS.

i enjoy the idea of sonic out-determining frisk, but you gotta remember theres a meta layer to all of this. nothing sonic does can change the fact that he's in a fictional medium, and we're the one in control of whether or not we reset. if his fight is tough enough to exhaust your determination and make you wanna reset for a different ending, then fair enough. but otherwise, unless he's literally programmed to be *_UNDEFEATABLE_* then you can eventually beat him if you try hard enough, for long enough. which i suppose could be a neat concept actually. he could be like sans, offering you a chance to do better. he knows theres no point in killing you, but he gives fair warning thats how the fight will end every time, and that your only real option is to fix the timeline and make things right. and if unlike sans, he remembers resets, it would be cool if he would behave differently on subsequent playthroughs, denying you access to choices that would lead to the genocide route, whether thats by being a silly nuisance sabatoging you, or straight up rescuing characters before you can kill them.

It would be cool if Sonic randomly rushes by and saves a monster from a random being slashed and zips back on screen. And when the fight starts you literally can’t hit him and he keeps on taunting until chara does an extra slash unexpectedly after 20 attacks and instead of dying he just loses 20 rings and we see his ring count panning down on screen showing he has 999 rings on him and after that Sonic had enough and gotten bored so after uttering chaos control the player is immediately 1 hp.

i understand completely, but it would be really funny if beating sonic doesn't even grant you the victory of an ending; the game just reloads to before the fight right as you try to leave where you killed him, never letting you progress past him even when you think you won

if this were a real game i feel as though you wouldn't be able to reset, as Sonic would have far more determination than anybody in his world, let alone the other characters, it'd be a really nice game if you played pacifist, full with endearing dialogue, but the first major bad thing you do once you encounter Sonic would immediately begin an encounter on the spot, regardless if you're ready or not. he's not one to sit around, like how sans only involved himself because you were about to destroy anything, he'd be there even before you would be able to get your first victim (maybe you'd be able to genocide in the ruins without repercussion if this takes place in mt ebott) and similar to the neutral route ending in undertale yellow it would be an unwinnable situation, all you could do, as the player is stall against the blue blur, as it's his world. though would he kill you? Probably not, because he would stop you before you do anything major, the battle and route would end once you go to 1 hp.

Oh wow. Thats such a neat idea. I can see Sonic managing to save everyone before you 'kill' them (or whatever the mechanic/threat would be in the game) hin consistently believing in changing your mind until it climaxes and the final battle ensues. He either convinces you to stop, or you defeat him with the power of the seven (human souls)

Honestly the thought of a genocide route happening in Sonics world. Wity people like eggman allowed to do whatever would you really be all that different compared to a normal Sonic villain? I mean look at mephiles and the end. They are worse than any player could realiatically be.... Great music btw.

Still, Mephiles and Solaris didn't kill Sonic's friends one by one. To personally exterminate the likes of Tails, Amy, and Knuckles and see their life flashing before their eyes, that would be more sick and twisted than even Mephiles.

Lowkey would love to see a full Sonic adv grounded fangame despite how unrealistic it may be. Also last tidbit, if we look at silvers future we can assume iblis (half of solarus) Mightve killed the main cast on future android timing.

Lowkey having a Sonic game where you could play the antag sounds fun af. Sega could prolly use the avatar system for smth like that. Doubt it will happen but Id love to be proven wrong. Sonic hames already have multiple endings afterall

Already thought of a concept for that amazing idea. Imagine the avatar system, but instead of being a rookie for the resistance, you decided to join the Eggman empire almost right as Eggman was about to do another one of his big schemes. Something goes wrong though and Eggman disappears. Being the loyal soldier you are (and one of the very few people who isn't a robot) you decide to carry out the plan anyway. You'll end up facing Sonic and his friends as bosses, instead of the usual mechs that Eggman might use, you might be able to deploy badniks and very rarely Metal Sonic. I don't know how gameplay would work. Maybe strategy X normal platformer? Pick and choose your targets?

@@EzraReay That actually sounds like a neat idea. If it was a thing, I would play it for sure. Gameplay wise, maybe you start with the map of the stage, put some capsules from where Badniks spawn, and when game starts, it's like a mix of Platformer to get onto correct place, king of the hill where you spawn another badniks to get deeper into the the stage, and so on? Also bonus points for getting parts and being able to create older Robotnik machines like Silver/Mecha Sonic lines, Hard Boiled Heavies or Eggman mechs controlled by Egg Robo like Egg Viper, Big Arms, Egg Hammer or Egg Overlord (Or whatever Lost World final boss could be called).

I'm wondering just how different Sonic would treat us in a Genocide route, considering the way we're just doing what we please, which isn't too different from Eggman, yet Sonic usually never goes out of his way to end Eggman or most antagonists in the series really. I imagine if Sonic's friends were gone in the Geno route though, that would change...

I’m making up attack patterns as I go. Especially 1:35 the I just think sonic just use the magic gloves to chuck you across the screen that expanded sort of like in the sans fight, as Sonic use all the wisps and also using tornados and other abilities in frontiers until the beat drop where you spam finally on the other side of the screen see him with two story books and with one of em he pulls out caliburn to turn into exalibur sonic and rapidly slash the battle box shredding it to bits until Shara pops out with 3 world rings and hard changed sonic to darkspine who then sends huge punches and kicks from the background. And finally super sonic near the end saying chaos control suddenly leaving you with one hp and your soul looking gray rather than red and sonic lightly pushes your soul with his foot and the game crashes
