Love your makeup girl! Subscribing. ;) Also the washing of the bodies makes sense, for a kinda 🤢 reason. Strangulation causes the body to “void”, basically voids the contents of the bowels and bladder. So it’s messy and smelly, and so in that sense I see why he immediately would go to wash the bodies afterwards. In England when they were still performing public executions, they typically reserved the Axe for women (or sword depending on your status) and hangings for common men. They felt it wasn’t becoming of the women to be hanged because for a lady to void the contents of her bowels in public when hanged, that was a no-no at the time. So out of “respect” for the women, they were usually beheaded. Men, hanged. Morbid fun fact. 🙉
