The parents allowed this to go on for too long around them and their other children. I cannot believe they allowed him to disrespect them for as long as they did without consequences. This boy was mentally unstable. For the gf that left one brother for the psycho brother 😒 I just do not understand why people like “bad guys.” Either way, I pray for the brothers and family having to go through that trauma.

I think some girls get a power trip thinking that they'll somehow have the ability to "heal" the bad boy and change him. It's sad! And I agree with OP, I hate to blame the victims, but those parents failed themselves and the three younger brothers by allowing this kind of behaviour. I understand they couldn't change him, but they allowed him to be part of their lives instead of pressing charges and letting him accept some consequences for his actions. A little accountability might have done this loser some good.

Yea the parents definitely should have been in counseling themselves, because they were unsure of what to do. I have borderline personality disorder, and it honestly sounds like this man Dustin had borderline personality disorder as well. I don't get any feelings of wanting to harm people, or show any type of violence what so ever. But until i was in therapy, and on medication, i used to fly off the hinges over literally the smallest things. Also one of the symptom of borderline personality disorder is a fear of perceived, or realistic abandonment, as well as paranoia. So his dad leaving definitely makes since to exacerbate how he behaved. But....and this is the sad part, you mostly develop borderline personality disorder from abuse through childhood. When your brain is developing as a child, and you are experiencing things that traumatize you, your brain changes, and you don't know/understand how to regulate your emotions. So when you begin to become self aware, thats when you basically have to learn what you should have learned as a child, all over again. Once i was in therapy recently, as well put on ketamine (after other medications weren't doing as well as they should have) things got so much better for me. Dialectical behavior therapy was actually created bye someone that had bpd, and its proven to have amazing positive affects. Dustin definitely should have went to get treatment, and parents/relatives/friends should start learning the signs of certain behaviors that are linked to poor mental health. Because there are just too many stories that are similar to this one. 😪

When you recognize your kid has an issue that's beyond you to fix,get them help! It's so unfair to unleash them on society, because oftentimes someone else's kid gets hurt or ends up dead due to your negligence..

I have a 17 year old nephew that is taking this path. The sad part is he was raised in a good home with both parents, he's just entitled and thinks everything is owed to him. But our family is worried he's going to hurt his mom(my sister) badly one day.

He should have done jail time for breaking into the school with a stolen golf club, and also charged with destruction of property and theft. But he only got 5 months probation. Yah, that is really gonna teach the teen isn't it. He should have been put in jail for everything he had done. And he doesn't deserve to ever get paroled.

I know what you mean. Some people view therapy as somehow legitimizing a problem, like it isn't real until you start to get treatment. And some people are just blinded by their love for another person, believing that if they just have enough love and patience, they can change that person. And even others are just so beaten down by the abuse that they forget they have the option or even the right to advocate for themselves. It's just heartbreaking that he didn't get help early on. That whole family is just destroyed.

I agree 100%. The parents and the girl. It is what it is, they allowed him to be spoiled, violent, and abusive and multiple ways that resulted in all of their deaths. Of course they didn't deserve to die, but I can't shed tears. It angers me at what the three younger boys must have gone through because this kid was showed favoritism. It may have not have started out that way but that's how it ended up and now they don't have their father and the one poor guy lost his girlfriend, friend. Disgusting all the way around. And also angers me that he got life with a chance of parole. The racism in America is unreal. A minority male will get thrown in jail for life without chance of parole for drug charges. But a white guy can brutally kill three different people for absolutely no reason and still have the chance to be unleashed again on society. Absolutely horrible in this country you really needs to do better.

Every now and again I get that on my eyes just as u are describing..mine is allergies and I have to take Zyrtec and it seems to help....I'm allergic to cats and dogs but I still have them lol just have to take allergy medicine hope u get to feeling better ❤😊
