I still don't understand why David was shot. Why and how did they already have the tools on them to dismember his body? Where did javi go and what did he know? At first I thought Josiah killed him too but when he was arrested he didn't immediately blame javi (because dead men tell no tales). So was it javi who gave the tip? Perhaps Josiah tried to kill javi but he got away and later died of his wounds. It makes no sense that he didn't turn up to testify about Josiah unless he was dead. If not died of some wound, likely an overdose because that's the only thing that makes sense.
