@rayay24828 күн бұрын
@@nla5307 I don’t think it has anything to do with how smart she was. As many experts have pointed out, anyone has the potential to be taken in and manipulated by a high control group (aka cult), it just takes the right combo of emotion state/life circumstance and manipulation techniques used by the leader. One specific risk factor for making you more susceptible to cults, though, is thinking you aren’t susceptible to cults. In other words, the more you realize you’re at risk of being taken in by a cult, the less you are actually at risk for being taken in by a cult. Larry is a looney toon, but it’s scarier that these young people with potentially good futures could fall victim to him. Honestly, a mental break and other issues may have occurred later, but it may be a good thing she never got the chance to work with patients if it could have impacted them. Same for the others to keep anyone they would work with out of this mess. For cults it can be a cycle unfortunately 😔
@junglekutz562510 ай бұрын
@@zanabrown8868the fact that everyone is calling Dan looney is interesting. No one that knows what they want and is about, would have anyone (doesn't matter their age) have them up for all this bullshit. As someone who was in a relationship with a narcissist and consider myself to be very intelligent and strong, people with these type of manipulative personality disorders like NPD, APD, etc. they really work overtime to get you to trust them above all others and make you crazy. Even to the point of questioning your own sanity. If they started off just being insane it wouldn’t work. They start off by being the most kind, loving, understanding people you’ve ever met. They mirror you and make you think that you’re similar and that they really GET you. And then they flip the switch. It’s sick.

This is so crazy! This case really bothers me because these were kids .wats more as a parent I would have handled Larry myself! It's so crazy the school allowed him to live with the students and these kids obviously had some insecurities to allow this guy to manipulate them! This is horrible

… father god, I know I’m difficult which all my questioning and wondering.. but thank you for making me as hard headed as I am because let me tell you if some old man tried to blame me for something I didn’t do 😒

Lmmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooo 😂😂😂 I don't think that is being hard headed (even though that and the word stubborn would likely be used to make you shy away from behaving that way). Sleezy behavior usually aims to you another dirty, period. The blame game is another psychological trick that is used to ensnare one's mind. Laughing at such individuals and or just showing disdain for trying you, will have them go elsewhere with their shenanighans. Although most revel in such poor psychology (which is why you see so much falling for the same mind games and treatment) they're just desperate to find someone that they can control, for specific reasons.

I liked your retelling of this story and definitely appreciate the length and all the hard work required, but is no one gonna talk about how this might be the BEST BLOOPER REEL YET? 😂 Thanks for all you do! 💜
