Cuttlefish "bone" is used a lot in Australia in bird cages. The birds (Especially parrots) love it. It trims their beaks plus it fills their calcium requirements

this fact is inaccutate though. They can see color, just not the way we do (with specilized cells). Their eyes have this wavy shape, because the light is refracted to different spots depending on color that way. So they can indeed see color

Just discovered these videos and love them! His voice is awesome and his comments remind me of the class clown's remarks during nature videos. If these videos were cleaned up a bit, they'd be a great way to teach children about nature. The comedy would keep them interested and they'd learn without realizing it was a lesson. Thank you for the education and the laughs!
