OMG I'VE GOT BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH. Let me tell you my story. Ok so when I was two years old me and my parents went to USA. I lived there for 5 and a half YEARS. After that we had to come back to India( which is where I live now). So here I got 3 friends, but they just weren't the same as my friends in America. So my Best friend is a girl named Poorva. She's got a brother. After two years I realized that I like his brother and I think ha has a crush on me too. And sometimes his sister says things like ' You are just like my brother' and 'I like when you talk to him'. So I'm just really scared to tell him that I like him. Sometimes he just does me favours, asks me random questions and some things mentioned in the video. But he doesn't tell me that he likes me. I'm like 90 percent sure of that . And my other friend( who's just like a fake friend ) LIKES HIM AND DENIES THE FACT THAT SHE HAS A CRUSH ON SOMEONE. And anyways she's really mean to me. I dunno what's her problem. I read it all, I don't have any thing to advice but definitely tell u what I would have done, I would straight away ask him what he feels about me and tell him what I feel about him, Ik its prolly the most difficult step but the best one atleast in my opinion, U know when there is this one sided love or liking it's the worst thing ever, and even worse part of it is that It forces us to create hypothetical situation in our mind, and when u already have so much confusion going on up there its better not to create more, being straight forward helps alot and there might be couple of awkward days around if he doesn't likes you but that's fine atleast u ll not have this regret that u didn't even tried and it may reduce the missunderstandings that have been created, but first we have to be clear that we actually like them and he is a gentleman... Can I maybe get some help, this guy, he and I just started to talk a few months ago and I’d say we have a pretty strong friendship: we talk about our days and thoughts on stuff are there sometimes are things that would be considered “flirting” but I don’t think he quite understands what he’s doing, he’s teases me, and we talk almost all night trying to stay on the phone when it’s only us- but at school he acknologes my presents whenever he sees me in the hall with no one else around but when the friends we share around they are kinda more “priority” ig-especially one he used to date last year and he really liked her a lot and they both say they’re over it but... and the class we have only us he does what’re he wants (taking my stuff, asking for pencils etc.) so I’m really confused-he’s also been kinda ignorin* me lately which is odd so if you read all that little advice would be awesome 😅

That’s all quite interesting! From what I see, there might be a chance he likes you! And if he’s flirting with you, then that probably means that he is comfortable with you, and knows you won’t think of it in any weird way. It’s hard to understand why he would not acknowledge you when he’s around his friends; maybe he doesn’t want to draw attention to you both. But here’s something to know, if he flirts with you, but never asks you out, you *MIGHT* dealing with a player. I think he may just see you as a very good friend that he is comfortable around. But if he’s ignoring you, don’t take it to heart; he might just be really busy, or forgot to text you. I’d say text him first, and ask him why he hasn’t been talking to you that much lately. But if you don’t want to ask that, you can ask him what’s been going on in his life recently. And once you talk for a while, tell him that you will always be there for him, and will always accept him for who he is. Remember this is what I see from my perspective, so I might not be correct. I’d say to follow your own instincts, and do what you think you should. Anyways, I wish you both luck!

My ‘crush’ (which is in quotes because I hate saying crush) I think likes me. My parents say he definitely likes me, his face says it all, they say. One thing I did notice myself was when his Mom and my Mom were talking when we all were walking, I started to try to go at the same pace as them, but he was slower (which before talking to me he wasn’t slow or anything) so I stayed further back from them and kept up with his speed. I do think that was an attempt to talk to me more one on one, which we did. His Mom did also text my Mom saying he enjoyed talking to me after the rest of the group left. His Mom often texts my Mom after I se him, to say that he enjoyed talking to me.

We tried to kill each other by chucking *sharpened* pencils across the room at each other… Long story how that started. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. Also, most people are pretty much comfortable enough to be naked around someone and have sex with someone that they have no romantic feelings towards. So sex isn't really a thing about romance. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
